I have eaten at the Wren's Nest many times for personal and business reasons and would rate it as undoubtedly the best restaurant within a multi-county area. Unfortunately it has closed for no reason having to do with food quality. Perhaps this note can serve as a remembrance of the excellent culinary work of Chef Fry in sustaining the Wren's... More

We Wanted to go there tonight but the restaurant/building is closed and being sold. We had been there once before and the service was very slow but the food was good, and since we weren't in a hurry we figured we would try it again. Guess not.

Love everything however expect to wait. This is not the place to go when you are extemely hungry. I advise you to order appetizers/ bread/ salad because the entree takes a while. However worth the wait.

For a very lovely dining experience we visit The Wren's Nest, but recently we attended a special evening that included great food and the wonderful music of a select group of Mansfield University singers. If you are in town for one of these special events, don't miss it. Reservations are a must for these evenings, and suggested for other times.... More

My husband and I went to dinner the first time at Wren's nest for our anniversary! The food was outstanding! We sense have been back on other occasions and enjoyed every visit. It's price is not bad sense there is no other restaurant in the area that compares to this quality, at least none I have found.

We ate here twice in two days mainly because there was not a large selection of restaurants in town to choose from. That is not to detract from the quality of the food at this restaurant, however. We enjoyed both meals. The salads were very fresh and tasty. I had the balsamic chicken one night. The sauce and accompaniments were... More

Food was excellent, however, service was a bit slow. Waitress forgot my drink order while I sat there waiting. Pricing was a lot less than those big city $ and of course was appreciated! I highly recommend going there for a great at a great price!

My husband, mother, and I stopped for dinner. The restaurant has a relaxing decor. Since it is in a house, each dining area holds smaller groups of people and it is fairly quiet. There are many windows which make it bright and airy. The service was excellent. My husband selected the mahi mahi and said it was perfectly cooked. My... More

Not what we were expecting when we walked inside, but we were pleasantly surprised with the great food and great wait staff. Will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area. Prices were good also!
