Excellent food, large menu, personalized service!

We've enjoyed the Himalayan Indian restaurant very much, both for lunch and for an early dinner. The menu includes a large number of dishes and can be found on their website. My husband prefers spicy foods, and I need to eat mild foods. We were both pleasantly accommodated at this restaurant. Our... read more

Love this place, however, lately skimping on the chicken......if I wanted just sauce and rice would have bought a jar of sauce at the local supermarket and cooked rice......probably $4.00 ........will not go back

Can't remember if or when I reviewed this restaurant before. In any case I used to think it was way above average but a recent visit for lunch made it almost average. If it weren't for the friendly staff … and the very good puddings … I may have rated it a little lower. The buffet table had an adequate... More

When it comes to Indian food in the Philly area, I have low expectations. The ambience of this place was nothing to write home about, but the food and service were great. The menu included Indian Chinese food, and the Gobi manchurian did not disappoint. The ingredients were fresh and distinctive in our dishes, and the portions were huge, making... More

Nearly didn't go in, but very glad we did. I got their special with medium to hot spice. Perfect! Got a little sweat going. Plastic covers on the tables and chairs where a bit 70's. Staff was very pleasant. We will go back.

I've been to a lot of indian buffets in many different cities. based on the reviews here, I thought this would be a good choice. wrong. it was far and away the worst indian buffet I have been to. food was room tempature, pakora was hard and inedible, naan was just so-so. service was poor. $9.50 for lunch (no bev).... Having just returned to the States from the UK, I was craving a really good curry...something that's a bit of a rarity in many cities. Found this gem through Trip Advisor and gave it a go...very glad i did. The lunch buffet is fantastic...less than a tenner for a full-option, fresh, excellent quality & taste buffet that satisfies the curry... More

When visiting mom other in PA, we always ALWAYS make a stop at Himalaya for a weekend lunch buffet. Delicious! There is a huge variety of food, freshly prepared and all delicious, including desserts, fruits, mango lassi and the best chai. Lots of vegetarian options. Friendly staff, always busy but not overly crowded. This is one of our favorite restaurants!

This was a busy place on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. Lots of business people. It's in a dinky little strip mall, but don't let that stop you. The buffet had a decent assortment of what you would expect at an Indian food buffet in the US. Nothing unusual, but what was there was very good. Lunch was less than... More

For $7.50 - this is one of the best indian lunch buffets around. There was a large selection. The restaurant was full with professionals enjoying a wide variety of meat and vegetarian items on the buffet. As an item was depleted it was promptly refilled. I would definitely go back. It was all tasty and good. The only downside is... More
