We enjoy periodic restaurant outings with friends and we recently tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a relative. We were given a round table, which we all love because we can have good conversations that way, and even though it appeared every table was booked on a Friday evening, the noise level was relatively low. The food wasn't bad... More

Great place to go for a special occasion. Food is wonderful and service is great. Since they opened their bar and bar menu we can go more often - very affordable prices.

Went here on Friday night with our newly wed son and daughter for dinner. The place may be a little tight but very nicely furnished. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and able to recommend various menu items. The food choices were excellent and we really enjoyed our choices. I highly recommend this place. Please make reservation so you can enjoy... More

Restaurant Alba was recommended to my wife, who works nearby, as a local spot for good Italian food. We stopped in and were pleased to see several people, always a good sign. We were seated in the bar area and served by a pleasant and professional server. The food was very tasty, there was value for the price, a decent... More

What a delightful find! Haven't eaten in Malvern for several years and Alba was really fun. Excellent menu, good wines and knowledgeable staff. The only downside is that even with a reservation, we waited an additional 40 for our table.

It has been a while since we visited this cordial handsome atmosphere. The front room with the bar is lively and fun. The dining rooms great for conversation, and the menu continues to be imaginative and the food tasty & delightful and served by experienced veterans. The soup, a sweet pea puree, was sensational as were all the dishes our... More

Nice setting and tasty food, just wish I could have tried more (they do have a tasting menu during the week). The pappardelle with wild boar ragu was very good. I loved the cucumber-mint-vodka cocktail: So refreshing! Looking forward to going back.

The food is alway top notch at Alba. When they opened it was a BYOB. When they got a license the corkage fee was $10. Now that they are popular, the corkage fee is $20. That's crazy, more than the cost of the pasta entrees!!!

When I first reviewed Alba, over six (6) years ago now, this bustling BYOB restaurant was just a few months old and already in the process of becoming one of the Main Line’s hottest meal tickets. Craig LaBan of the Philadelphia Inquirer had bestowed his coveted imprimatur, every foodie within reasonable commuting distance was storming the gates, and chef/proprietor Sean... More
