Great Food in relaxed atmosphere

Food was very good. We had short ribs on flat bread, pasta with wild boar ragu, and the slow cooked pork shoulder. All were excellent. Sat in bar area which was more casual. Wine list mostly Italian and wasn't that large but did cover a wide enough range--no trouble finding a good bottle. Not... read more

This place has established itself as a gem in Malvern. Food is consistently excellent, and they keep adding new twists to provide new ways to enjoy. First they acquired the building next door and made it their bar. That's now a little secret - you can walk in most nights without a reservation and have a great meal in the... More

Overall it was a very good time and the food was good. Service was outstanding. Two things I would mention are, the appetizers we got were very small, enough for barely one person. Second, on the nights you have someone singing in the bar area, let people know that when they come in. Had we known it would be that... More

One of my favorite spots in the Western suburbs of Philadelphia. The food is always delicious. Friendly. Comfy. Bar side of the restaurant, where you can get the full menu, and seating the first come/first served, gets crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

This restaurant is UNBELIEVABLE! The portions are huge, the food is absolutely delectable, the atmosphere is warm and quiet, and the service was the best! Came here for a birthday and would definitely come back!

Alba is easy to find in Malvern, just roll down your windows and follow the wood burning oven smell. When you walk into the restaurant, it is small and cozy. The menu is loaded with exotic Italian dishes that are just ripe for the palate. The wild boar pasta is excellent! A must have while dining at Alba. My wife... More

Great in the restaurant or the bar menu. Very classy night out. Good food and awesome service. Nice little outdoor seating area too.

My wife and I try to have dinner at Alba at least twice a month. The food, cocktails, and service are as good if not better than many Philadelphia establishments run by Starr, Garces or Vetri. We love the antipasto of the day, their salads, and aged ribeye specials. I watch my carbs, but if I could cut loose for... More

I have been here many times for lunch and dinner in all seasons. Excellently prepared food that has some seasonal changes. I have proudly eaten through much of the menu and would recommend any dish. Love the reasonable bar and lunch fare. My weakness is the pappardelle with wild boar rage. Been here both on business and pleasure. Will always... More
