Good Location for a Large Party

The General Warren Inne hosted our party of 60 people. The menu choices we were presented with were excellent. The service for a group of this size was excellent. We had a dedicated wait staff of three. The food was well prepared, the portions were just right and the staff was very attentive.

The historic General Warren Inne is a wonderful place for couples to dine, a business meal, or a group dinner. The staff is very friendly and knows how to handle parties of all sizes. I am never disappointed with my meal.

For the price you pay, you expect a lot more. Portions were small, service seemed grudgingly polite. Slow as well. Shouldn't have to ask for more bread, they should bring or ask if they notice you are out. Water wasn't refilled often either. Place was not full so they could have been more attentive, we waited a long time between... More

The crowd tends to be on the 60 and above generation. Food was mediocre. Scallops were overdone and oysters were off. Nothing special and very expensive.

Nice place with the flair of an old habit. Very polite service, professional and descent. I had the pork stake and a salad, both tasty and generous portioned.

We enjoyed, again, eating in the tavern next to the fireplace. The restaurant is romantic during other months but outstanding during the winter, especially in the bar or Tavern as they call it. The tavern menu has great small plates that vary regularly. Very creative dishes and very reasonable prices. Always busy, so make a reservation.

Dined here Friday night after many times earlier-first review. Setting is truly historic and well done. Food is overall excellent- carpacio salad, scallops, shrimp, filet burger all were excellent. Started at the bar for a drink. We were greeted by nobody at the bar. The male bartender approaches and just stands there looking at us- no smile, no greeting, no... More

It had been a long time since my last snapper soup. This one was excellent. I had one of the best prepared wild salmon dishes outside of the Pacific Northwest. Two in our group had steak and one had crab cake. All were very good. The wait staff were very pleasant and prompt. The atmosphere is early American - most... More

Two years ago I ordered the same entree, and was disappointed, tonight it was perfect. Ordered Caesar Salad and was a little wimpy but tasted nice. Would definitely go back again. Waitress was attentive and accommodating to everyone. Great place, nice atmosphere, and great memories with my friends forever.
