Food and coffee are great but the uncomfortable seats don't encourage lingering. Turkey hash is fantatic!

As a native of Coatesville, PA, who for the past 26 years has been living in Syracuse, NY, my infrequent trips back to Chester County, PA, are pleasurable revisits to my roots, albeit most of my beloved relatives have passed to a realm of much greater bliss! One of my main delights of each Pennsylvania visit is eating breakfast at... More

The Classic Diner has been one of my favorite places to get brunch for a while. It offers great breakfast and lunch and in decent sized portions too. The restaurant is usually packed on the weekends and you will most likely have to wait a while on a Saturday or Sunday but the wait is defiantly worth it. Now the... More

We recently went to the Classic dinner for lunch/brunch. I had an omelet and my husband and son split the corned beef sandwich and quesadillas. Everything was cooked or prepared just right. The omelet was not overcooked but not runny, which is important for a good omelet. the fillings were generous and well-prepared. I cannot eat dairy or corn or... More

Husband and I stayed two days in Malvern and toured sights in the area. We ate both mornings at the Classic. The food was great...everything was fresh and service was good. We were seated promptly and our orders came out very quickly. It was a little tight in the seating area though.

Went to lunch there today. Originally we were seated in the back room, but after about 5 minutes in that room, asked wait staff to move us as the noise level was painfully loud! Metal table tops, extremely loud groups of people, HW floors = NO SOUND ABSORBTION. Once we moved to the middle room, it was much better, though... More

Friendly service, great food, fair pricing - this place might be a bit small, but it's well worth the trip!

Long wait on a Sunday morning for brunch. Food was well prepared, using good ingredients, and service was fine but prices are high for a diner. For example, a simple omelette with spinach, tomatoes & feta was $13.75 as everything (each ingredient) is a la carte. French toast with strawberries was $10.75. It adds up veery quickly. I prefer Nudy's.

Highlights of this place: fruit bowl (12 different fruits!), thick bacon, multi-grain toast, chicken strips/tenders. I would recommend this to anyone! Small place but many seats and usually a max wait of 30 minutes on the busiest day! Its also excellent for lunch and we often have the salads and they are just as good!

This place is just ok not equal to the hype. I will give it a C~ if Nudy's is an A. Ridiculous waiting times, and there menu is very simple and not that great. The food is not as good as the other diners.
