We came upon this place by accident and were happy we did. The food was excellent - portions were beyond what was expected so we couldn't finish it all. The place is cramped so waiting for our seats was not great - don't know what they do on bad weather. Thankfully we didn't have too long of a wait -... More

We were crammed in with a zillion other people, and the chairs were unbelievably uncomfortable! As if they wanted to get people out of there as quickly as possible. Did I mention it was LOUD too? We will do takeout from now on!

What a great place. It get crowded and loud in rush hour times but you won't care as the food is that fresh and good. Gotta have their homemade chips, house cured bacon and anything else you like you will so pleased with!

This is my favorite diner. The food is fantastic - I love the breakfast, especially since I can always get avacado with my eggs (my favorite)- The only drawback is that the place is usually crowded. It's worth the wait----certainly the best breakfast around.

Classic Diner is the perfect breakfast place, great selection, fair prices and huge portions...if there would be a negative spin on it, it is that it is way too small but with that aside, get ready to get cozy because the secret is out and this place delivers!!!

Food and coffee are great but the uncomfortable seats don't encourage lingering. Turkey hash is fantatic!

As a native of Coatesville, PA, who for the past 26 years has been living in Syracuse, NY, my infrequent trips back to Chester County, PA, are pleasurable revisits to my roots, albeit most of my beloved relatives have passed to a realm of much greater bliss! One of my main delights of each Pennsylvania visit is eating breakfast at... More

The Classic Diner has been one of my favorite places to get brunch for a while. It offers great breakfast and lunch and in decent sized portions too. The restaurant is usually packed on the weekends and you will most likely have to wait a while on a Saturday or Sunday but the wait is defiantly worth it. Now the... More

We recently went to the Classic dinner for lunch/brunch. I had an omelet and my husband and son split the corned beef sandwich and quesadillas. Everything was cooked or prepared just right. The omelet was not overcooked but not runny, which is important for a good omelet. the fillings were generous and well-prepared. I cannot eat dairy or corn or... More

Husband and I stayed two days in Malvern and toured sights in the area. We ate both mornings at the Classic. The food was great...everything was fresh and service was good. We were seated promptly and our orders came out very quickly. It was a little tight in the seating area though.
