I was in town for business and we had a group lunch here. Every seemed to enjoy their orders, the service was very attentive. I had the beet salad and thought it was awesome. Definitely worth a return trip if I'm back in the area.

We really enjoyed our dinner at McKenzie's. I highly recommend the sampler that includes hummus and artichoke dips with pita bread. It is outstanding!!! We had Greg as a waiter and he was very friendly and very accommodating to our needs throughout the meal. The beers are outstanding if you want to try a number of different micro-brews. I had... We were there with a rather large party, so I want to be fair. The wait staff took a rather long time to even start taking our orders. The food arrived a very long time afterwards. The restaurant was not at all filled to capacity, yet it took a long time for the food. One of our party did not... More

My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. We sat outside, which was nice. We started with the small cheese nachos and they weren't very good at all. In fact, the cheese wasn't even melted all the way and the chips tasted like they were straight out of a bag. It was one of the rare times we... More

The service and food were OK...not outstanding and the atmosphere was very loud. I was with a large group and the waiter did not get drink orders before taking dinner orders...so it was a bit confusing. I had a Wine Country Salad , which was pretty good, but the candied pecans were mostly candy.....not quite what I had in mind.... More

I work in the area and this place has a great set up for a happy hour since it has ample space indoors and plenty of room outside. They also have shuffleboard which always gets my attention. The problem is the beer. I'm sorry to the brewer, but in the past 2 years I've tried the place 3 or 4... More

There was an unpleasant odor upon entering that we couldn't quite identify but the weather was miserable and we wanted to have lunch so were seated. Nice hostess and very capable, nice server. Both the wood fired pizza and sweet potato fries were very salty and just awful. Generous portions but just about inedible. We paid and left. For me... More

This visit to McKenzies did not start well. We had to wait for 30 minutes for a waitress to stop by. Normally we'd have left, but we're talking and making sure our friends' baby was staying entertained. The food was okay, but I found myself trying to remember what I had (a chicken sandwich).

We like coming to McKenzie's for lunch. They have a wide selection on their menu and we never had anything that disappointed. You can choose to sit in the bar area or in the more formal dining room. They are also very accommodating for large groups as well. When the weather is nice, their back patio is the place to... More
