We live locally to McKenzies in Frazer/Malvern and frequent it at least once per week year round. We come back for the menu. Their selection of quality salads is excellent. They have such a great variety of menu items from quality seafood to steak to soups to flatbreads to... the list goes on. It is a great atmosphere for groups... More

At first glance, it looks like your standard family restaurant on a suburban hwy. But I've know been twice and the food is surprisingly fresh, interesting and tasty, and the in-house brewed beers are very good keeping up with Philly's reputation for good beer. The artisnal sausage of the day was really tasty - one of the few times berry's... More

We go to MacKenzie's occasionally because we like the lettuce wraps. The salads are pretty decent and the chicken and burger options are good. The service can be variable, but is generally good. The atmosphere is fine, and in warm weather you can sit outside.

I have been to McKenzie's twice. Food and beer is very good, however, the service is ridiculous. First time I was there, waitress had no idea what was going on and messed up our order. We had our holiday party for the office there this past week. Not only did they not have our reservation after calling 3 times to... More

You get what you pay for. Good casual dining food. Service is very attentitive and the bartender makes a nice Grey Goose martini.

Traveling on business, I chose the McKenzie Brew House as an alternative to the usual chains along the highway. Big mistake. From service to the food, a total loss. Waitstaff attention was intermittent at best with drinks sitting empty and me with menu in hand for far too long on a very un-busy Sunday night. I ordered a side wedge... More

I was traveling solo and two locals suggested I try this restaurant. There is a large bar area with several TVs for those who want sports and a separate restaurant area for quieter dining. The only beer they have I the beer they brew and the selection is nice. They have a light beer, a Belgian Ale, similar to Blue... More

I have been here a few times over the years, usually in the bar or on the deck and have always enjoyed the food. On my most recent (and final) visit I sat in the dining area where one can see into the kitchen as the food is prepared and plated for serving. I observed the servers standing around, drinking... I had the ribs for dinner. They were okay but nothing special, maybe a little too much sauce. The beer is crafted onsite and I enjoyed it. This place would be good for a group of people.
