Nice, upscale Pub with good food

We saw McKenzie Brew House as we passed by on Rt 202. Decided to try it. A good thing we did. More upscale than I expected. Service was fantastic. and the food moderately priced and very good. We did not try their local brews on this trip, but look forward to doing so the next time we are in... read more

In town visiting friends who took us to this little gem. Locals love it cause it was packed so get a reservation if you can. Atmosphere is open and relaxed - big cozy booths that give privacy and comfort. Awesome staff. Menu is diverse - I chose the Asian Lettuce wraps , hubbie got the tempura asparagus - excellent. Dinner... More

Went in with a group of 5. Got seated and served in minutes. Food was good and there was enough for some to take home.

Sometimes you just want to go out to dinner, you and our wife. So you get in your car and go to this place: great bar where if there is a game you can catch moments of it, great apps, wonderful selection of beer, and good value.

The manager is completely unaccommodating. Like the cop that sees everyone as a perpetrator- he clearly sees customers as an inconvenience. This place does nothing to work with group parties. There are way too many other places around that will bend over backwards to help you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! You have been warned!!!!

The service was great, especially considering how busy it was when I arrived. The Amber was very good (and from what I gather from other patrons so is the IPA). The atmosphere was what you want in a sports pub and grill: loud-ish, plenty of televisions, etc. I would have given a 5 mark but for two items. First, the... More

We had a buffet style dinner, so it is a little harder to rate vs. an individual plate. The dinner was good for a buffet and had a few elements that were better than others, as is usual. The bar ans staff were very friendly and the atmoshere was good.

A friend brought me here for lunch. It has a large selection of microbrews as well as foods. The waiter, Victor, was excellent. Our food, which he stressed like everything is made from scratch ... Except the Ketchup! My beet salad was very good. My friends roast beef sandwich was good but the horseradish was weak. Our beer, a prize... More

I've been to McKenzies brew house a bunch of times its very local. The only thing that saves it from a terrible rating is the deck and basement. The beer is the worst microbrew I've ever had. The food is actually decent. The bottom line the way they treat their employees is borderline criminal. The restaurant takes the fee the... More

Tried a few craft beers, enjoyed the pumpkin beer, worth trying if you are a beer/pumpkin fan. Stuffed jalapenos were very good and had some pretty good heat.
