Verona was an above average local Italian restaurant serving fresh, decent food with very good sauces including an excellent marinara & bolognese. Chicken & veal dishes were very tasty & everything was served piping hot including home made bread.

I feel bad rating this restaurant poorly but beside the dessert and BYOB there was very little positive about the food. We went on Saturday night around 8 and there were about 5 tables with couples. Quaint Decor with nice Italian music but that was about it. Being from Queens and now Long Island we rarely eat Italian outside NY... More

I have been eating Italian food for 60 years and this place earned a spot in my heart for fresh and delicious Italian food. I am from out of town and was staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. This was conveniently located a few miles west on route 30. It was a modest sized place with simple decor. Unfortunately... More

I've been to this restaurant several times now and always have a great experience. The food is delicious. Service is fantastic. I have only been there on a weeknight, so don't know about weekend service, but I based on what I have seen, I would expect it to be the same. It is a smaller restaurant and reservations are recommended,... More

We stopped in for lunch and found we were the only people in the place, however the food was good service also good. The waiter let us try some of the buffet items and they were delicious. We enjoyed the food and ambiance. It is a BYOB so we will try it next time for dinner.

I usually avoid restaurants on the major restaurant holidays like Mother's Day, Valentines' Day etc., because they typically have their eye on the quick turnover and offer an abbreviated menu with poor service and high prices. Ristorante Verona was a most welcome exception. This very attractive BYOB was our destination for Valentine's Day dinner. We were welcomed as if we... More

Cafe Verona has a good menu, average to above average service and very good food. It's nice to go out for a nice meal and be able to take your own wine, keeping the cost down and the quality up. We all had typical Italian entrees, and all were good. I happen to love chicken parmigiana, so whenever I can... More

Authentic. I sometimes base my Italian dining experiences on a good veal or chicken parm. Verona didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere. Homey. Opera in the background. Service was slow due to a server call out, but we'd return and recommend. BYOB.

We recently took my mom out to Verona for her 86th birthday lunch. We had debated going to Olive Garden which she mentioned, but I really cannot stand the lunch time crowds there, nor can I eat most of their food since I do not eat wheat or cheese, which is their speciality! We arrived around 1:00 and found it... More

I had heard and read many positive reviews the I decided to take the family here for dinner. WOW, what a letdown . Ambiance was fine but the waitress service was poor. The salads were poor as the house and Cesar were too salty. My entrée was the chicken parm. The chicken was overcooked and had the consistency of rubber.... More
