Twenty9 is the newest success from partners Stephen Scutti and Executive Chef Edwin Tietjen, whose jointly-owned restaurant in Media, PA (Stephen's) has been topping the charts since 2003. Now, in concert with Patricia Archie, they have joined forces again to debut Twenty9, an upscale Malvern retreat located in the Great Valley Corporate Center. At 7,000 square feet, this two-level destination is a combined fine-dining restaurant, casual sports bar, and special event venue - all conveniently situated under a single roof. By day, Twenty9 accommodates the thriving businesses in the corporate center and surrounding areas, offering dine-in and delivered lunches, as well as lunch buffets. By night, Twenty9 dons its chic after-dark persona, with a focus on Happy Hour socializing, live music, and leisurely dining overlooking a landscaped panorama. From contemporary dining on the main floor to a sports bar on the lower level, to live music, Twenty9 provides the ideal setting for everyone!

Cool ambiance, average food

Had a cool vibe and ambiance. Service was above average - we had a group of 12 and our server WAS working very hard but could have used some help. The group ordered a variety of appetizers which were all very good. I ordered the Shrimp and Crab Bucatini. When it came out, it was clear that it had... read more

Besides their great food, 29 has great entertainment on Friday nights. We have never had a bad meal there and the service is prompt and friendly.

Drinks and food were good. It was a bit noisy for us . Our server was prompt and cordial. I had oysters and scallops and my husband had the bolognese.my oysters were excellent . Food was good but we both have had better.my scallops were a little undersized for sea scallops and a little dry. The bolognese could have had... More

A great meal featuring local produce in a trendy, upscale, yet out of the way location in Pennsylvania. We were a party of 8 and everyone had something different. I wanted everything that everyone ordered. All was delicious. Great wine list too. Not cheap but well worth it!

This place is really popular on a Friday night when they bring in a live band. A lot of people from the local businesses and corporate centers Come here after work and it can get packed! It is a fun place with a dance floor and the food is good. The barstaff are dead slow and unfriendly and the place... More

Had lunch with coworkers today. We arrived around 11:45 which was perfect timing. We were seated immediately. Our table on the band stand gave us a great view of the restaurant. The food arrived promptly. I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Delicious! Our server was very polite and friendly.

I went there before and I had much better experience. I first ordered a coke. What was served was a flat soda barely tasting coke. At lunch the menu is quite reduced and the panini I had was made of very thick bread. Disappointing overall.

This is a really nice place for lunch or drinks. The onion soup and pastrami were excellent. Portions are huge and prices reasonable. We ate at the bar and the bartender, Nigel, was super friendly. The atmosphere was part sports bar, part upscale dining. This is a good choice for the area.

We went on a Thursday night. The place was crowded but not full. Only 2 waitresses working the whole place. Took a while to order and for the food to come out. The food was very good. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry.

The food , service and atmosphere are all A-1. On Friday nights they have great bands. I think the reviews should be succinct. No need for 100 characters.
