Description: Twenty9 is the newest success from partners Stephen Scutti and Executive Chef Edwin Tietjen, whose jointly-owned restaurant in Media, PA (Stephen's) has been topping the charts since 2003. Now, in concert with Patricia Archie, they have joined forces again to debut Twenty9, an upscale Malvern retreat located in the Great Valley Corporate Center. At 7,000 square feet, this two-level destination is a combined fine-dining restaurant, casual sports bar, and special event venue - all conveniently situated under a single roof. By day, Twenty9 accommodates the thriving businesses in the corporate center and surrounding areas, offering dine-in and delivered lunches, as well as lunch buffets. By night, Twenty9 dons its chic after-dark persona, with a focus on Happy Hour socializing, live music, and leisurely dining overlooking a landscaped panorama. From contemporary dining on the main floor to a sports bar on the lower level, to live music, Twenty9 provides the ideal setting for everyone!

For some reason this seems to be the "go to" place for my work colleagues. Probably based purely on location and laziness. The large central bar is surrounded by a seating area and the place is quite dark. There is an outside deck too, which is covered and heated in winter. The lunch menu is fairly limited to burgers, sandwiches... More

The view from the outside porch was very enjoyable. The food was quite good. Appetizers came with plastic forks and knives which didnt make sense but got real flatware for dinner. I had the salmon which was very good. Inside was pretty hot and I read a previous review about lack of AC. Luckily the weather allowed us to sit... More

We had an expiring Groupon for Twenty 9 so we went tonight ( a Monday evening). We should have turned around as soon as we walked in and realized that the air conditioning was not working (it was a 90+ degree day). But because of the previously mentioned expiring Groupon, we decided to stay. There were ceiling fans on the... More

The dining experience was fantastic. The views of the valley made it feel like we were in a national park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If your goal is to have a good meal this fits the bill. The portions are large and the food was thoughtfully presented: home cooking if your hobby is cooking. If your goal... More

Ate here while on business. I loved the food. I loved the atmosphere, and I thought the prices were reasonable. I would eat here again. The only dislike, was that it was very warm in the restaurant.. A little cooler, would have been nice. but that is really a personal opinion/taste.

This is a good place for a nice team lunch in and around malvern. They are very accommodating for large parties and we have always had a good experience here. Plus the food is excellent as well.

Let me do this different, let me start from how I entered over the placing my order and getting out. So, when I walked up to the front door, I thought ok, this place looks empty, like no one there....is that even open? The windows need a clean, a good one, guys come on...... Sitting down, waiter takes a while... More

Let me start this by saying that I could have/should have started my Easter Brunch Buffet search sooner, but we ended up settling on Twenty 9. Lesson 1, if they still have reservations on the day before Easter, skip it. Lesson 2, if the parking lot isn't full, don't go in. So on to the review. We had reservations for... More

I ate at Twenty9 in April 2014. I had the nachos and a burger with cheddar cheese. The server was very nice but a bit slow. The nachos were good (nothing extraordinary, but tasty), but they were piled so high, the cheese was really only on the top layer of chips. The burger I ordered was done to the temperature... More

Visited here for a group work lunch and enjoyed a salad with added shrimp and other heathy ingredients. The menu had lots of variation for all different needs and tastes. I had asked up front if I could get some plain grilled chicken or shrimp and a vegetable if needed and they were fine with that. I had been told... More
