We went here for a company Christmas gathering, and while the wings for our appetizer were delightful, the bacon wrapped scallops were very under cooked, and tasted extremely fishy. My white pizza was good, though did not have enough garlic for my liking, even though the waitress recommended it by telling me if I liked garlic this was the perfect... More

Cedar Hollow Inn is one of my favorite restaurants in the Malvern area. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is cooked to perfection. I love the oysters. They are always fresh. The section of alcoholic beverages and beers are extensive. Cedar Hollow is a fun place to go and unwind and listen to the musical bands.

Ambiance - sitting in the enclosed porch is nice during the daytime, a bit blinding at night with car lights shining directly into your face as other customers park out front. Food was not too bad, the stuffed sweet potato fries were eaten with pleasure (they were mixed with pulled pork, pretty tasty). The roasted chicken was very good but... More

Friendly staff and reasonable fast lunch service. The place can get fairly busy with the lunch crowd though. There is a reasonable selection of beers on tap and the menu is a fairly standard, if unadventurous, affair.

Never been until recent. Pretty good food. Service was good too. Not great but, a decent neighborhood restaurant.

Beautifully presented plates. Great bread. Great service. The entree itself was good but not great. In house pastry chef made the dessert a real win!

We returned to this Chester County Classic Mainstay hoping to find much of the same excellence we had discovered many times in the past.....?.....We sat on their enclosed porch although the view. {their parking lot}, really does not add any panache to the overall feeling of the adventure, but this spot is our FAV place to sit there... Our waitress... More

This is a neighborhood restaurant for us and we have eaten their often and found it to be fine. Tonite it was attrocious. Even though it was largely empty service was poor. Waitress messed up two orders. She took over ten minutes to come back and tell us they were out of one entree. The food was mostly awful. The... More

We went there for a business lunch. There was a nice wine list by the glass. I'm interested in salads entrees and they had several to choose from. The salad had shrimp with a nice vinaigrette. CHI was recommended by a business associate and I would like to go back for dinner sometime.

we had lunch in the outside porch; a lot of street noise, surprising in the country setting. The meal was average. OK hamburger, cooked a little more rare than requested. Very good onion rings. Not very good crab cakes. Dessert were good, homemade, but limited selection. Fairly average meal for this type of country inn.
