Great anniversary party!

My Dad and Mom set up an anniversary dinner for my husbsnd and I while we were at Bear Creek the last week in December along with the help if my sister and 12 year old daughter. We were a party of 18 adults and children and the servers and staff were very attentive even in recommending food and... read more

Food is great... and it's very cozy with the fireplace... the bar is nice and has additional seating to hang out by the fire. The two man band was great (they reminded me of Mumford & Sons). After dinner the kids took off for the game room around the corner and we just sat there enjoying ourselves! perfect!

Six of us spent dinner on New Year's Eve discussing whether or not this restaurant compares to other relatively high end restaurants in our fancy-schmancy resort hometown. We all agreed that if we were to pay what would probably be 15 to 20% more for each item at home we would be more than satisfied. They pay close attention to... More

When members of our family go to Bear Creek to ski, sometimes we go up and meet them for a meal, we love the dining area and the ability to view the slopes as you eat your dinner. It is also fun to sit around the fireplace and enjoy a drink while you wait for your table. Well done Bear... More

As a ski-bum hangout, I'm sure the Grille is a great destination, but for a business group having a meal in the off-season (there was no skiing going on yet), it was average at best. The service was okay but the food was nothing to write home about.

Six of us dined at the Grill at Bear Creek. The menu is very different. What are pea tendrils and how do they get them in ravioli? We never did find out. The ribs were to die for as the meat fell off the bones. I ordered the salmon over mashed potatoes topped with a chili sauce. It was delicious... More

Service was great, friendly staff. The food was good, filet Mignon was ordered medium well & arrived medium rare. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere is charming & cozy. The fireplace was roaring even in August.

We visited the Grille at Bear Creek three times in the past few months. Each time we were favorably impressed by the food. The bacon wrapped meat loaf, the shrimp pasta and the chicken jambalaya pasta were all superb, but- if you are in to crab cakes, if you appreciate well seasoned large crab cakes with big chunks of lump... Love dining here throughout the year. Especially enjoy the summer's which are nice and the scenery is great and there are no crowds. Winter holiday's are always fun and the wait staff are attentive. Beer and wine selection is good as well. Somewhat pricey but it is a resort.

I did not expect to be treated to a gourmet meal in this woodsy resort in Pennsylvania; color me surprised! I was even able to get a fabulous vegetarian entree - my preference! I had English pea ravioli topped with carmelized onions that was out of this world. He had a loaded jumbo crab meat pasta entree that also was... More
