We stumbled upon the Brickerville House on our way home from Gettysburg, late Sunday afternoon. The eighteenth century stone house promised an interesting experience. There are several rooms, we were seated in the library. The decor is country with antiques mixed in. Our wait person, Lily was patient and helpful as we tried to decide what to eat. The menu... More

My wife and I have had breakfast at Brickerville House before. Due to the excellent experiences, we decided to try supper. We were seated promptly and our waitress came to get our drink orders. We were trying to decide on an appetizer when the couple at the table beside us told us to try the crab pretzel melt. THANK YOU... More

visited this restaurant on Tuesday 11/11/14. Promptly acknowledged by hostess. Great service from staff. This restaurant is always busy when we stop for a meal. Good portion size, prompt service, Quick to remove empty plates. Never had a "bad experience" at Brickerville House,

Ate a late breakfast here and was very pleased. Tried the meatatarian which is like four meats, eggs, and homefries all scrambled together. It was enough for two people. Staff was very cordial however as others have said if paying with card prepare to tell how much tip is going to be included.

We generally have breakfast here on the weekends. It's always busy but they keep things moving. Their menu gives you a wide selection, and we've never been disappointed in the food. They have several rooms, including a sunroom. Our favorite is the room with the huge fireplace. It's beautiful!

Food is good service ok for a large restaurant. However when you get ready to leave and want to pay your bill it is a bottle neck. The cashier is so slow in processing your check and if you are behind other people, it just stops. Also I do not being asked if I would like to leave a trip... More

Cathy was our excellent waitress. Breakfast and burgers are exceptional. Wish they would present bills totalled out.

The Brickerville House has the coziest atmosphere and the most diverse menu around. The service is excellent and the breakfast is a great value. The hamburgers are huge and delicious.

We took the whole family for dinner recently and enjoyed it immensely. The food was comfort food, which was very nicely done. What sets this place apart, however, is the pre-1776 building and surrounding shops. We will be returning to explore the offerings.

My wife and I could not believe our bill when we got it. It looked like it may have been wrong when I looked at the total, but no, it was accurate. This has to be one of the best bargains going. For what we would have paid for fast food we got excellent homemade soup and great entrees. And... More
