Always delicious

The food here is always fresh, local, and delicious. The staff is pleasant, but not as attentive as would be nice. The last two times I've been here, I've waited for over 15 minutes to be waited on, even though I sat at the counter. But the food is worth waiting for, especially the ice cream.

This is a nice place. Not only a really good restaurant but ... small, but nice gift shop. ice cream shop, farm tour, really nice play ground, big grocery store with large selection of bulk goods, and animals. The restaurant has a buffet or you can order off the menu. Home style, comfort food reasonably priced. Did I mention the... More

We had our stop over here and to our surprise it had everything we needed. The grocery was big and had practically everything we are looking for, some quick snacks and drinks. Beside it was their nice restaurant, and really pretty souvenir shop selling local products and crafts. There is also an ice cream shop in the compound and best... More

The Dairy is located between Reading and Lancaster - a great half way point to have a great dinner. We stopped in on our way to the Park City Mall and were very glad we did. The meatloaf was quite tasty, the corn and wild rice were nicely cooked. My sister had a loaded vegetable potato and she enjoyed that... More

One of the best breakfasts in Central Pennsylvania. We were revisiting after 13 years and it was as excellent as ever. Clean, great menu, great service, great value. Definitely go if you are able.

My family and I head to Lancaster County every year. For the last three years since we discovered the Oregon Dairy Country Restaurant we make sure to stop by. We always get the buffet which is priced reasonably. They have a variety of Amish fare like ham balls, pork and sauerkraut, stewed tomatoes mac and cheese, potato filling, etc... They... More

This is a fun place to enjoy ice cream. Try to make it for one of their pancake breakfasts. If there is a line when you get there, don't worry. It moves quick and it is worth the wait. There are activities for kids, a grocery store, and a restaurant.

Oregon Dairy has always been a conservative family oriented store and restaurant, AND they have their own ice cream, milk, etc. AND they have animals to entertain kids. What else could you want?

We stay overnight in a hotel on our way between 2 cities and needed a place for a nice breakfast. While looking through the picked-up brochures I announced that I found our breakfast. It was not on the main road, seemed to be frequented by lots of locals, and had an extensive menu. It is set back from the road... More
