Great Food & Service

We went to the Tomato Pie yesterday and got their just 15 minutes before their closing time yet they allowed us to come in, order whatever food we wanted and, in the end even offered desert. We appreciated them allowing us to stay even though they were ready to be done for the day. Oh yea, we all... read more

The feel is really cool, it used to be a neighborhood Ice Cream Shop. The service team is everywhere, the food is wow. We shared the Spinach and Artichoke Tomato Pie and the Hummus/veggie wrap/ Panini. Everything was Just Right. The food was all the correct temperature and tasted great. Even the pickle is cold/ crisp and tasty. Our lunch arrived... More

We happened across this quaint restaurant while visiting Wilbur's Chocolate Shop. So glad we did. The service and the food was great! We had the tomato pie which was phenomenal. I will be dreaming of the lemon pie which was some of the best I've had. I highly recommend stopping through this quaint little town and wonderful restaurant. Don't miss... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Americanos and the service was excellent. The space is very warm and welcoming. One of the very few places in our trip to South Carolina where we could get a really great tasting cup of coffee. We had soup, salad and sandwiches, which were quite nice and tasty. Tried their lemon squares which were quite amazing!

If you visit Tomato Pie Cafe for lunch as I did, expect to give your name and wait a bit. This cafe, in an old downtown residence, is very popular because of the excellent food and service. My dining companion and I were shown to a table for two upstairs. Dining in what I assume was originally a bedroom of... More

I live local and love to take our out of town guest to the Tomato Pie. I always recommend they order the tomato pie, never had any like it, absolutely delicious. The servers attire makes the atmosphere as the clothes match the era of the building and décor of the restaurant.

We had a lunch visit on a weekday and there was a 10 to 15 minute wait. The food was excellent as was the service.

Attractive decor. Limited menu. Food was good. Wait staff accommodating and pleasant. 4 of 5 orders completed correctly. I think this would be even better in the Summer, as they rely heavily on fresh vegetables.

There is a gluten-free version of tomato pie. Very good. We also split a large and delicious salad. The waiters were so friendly and attentive. We loved the casual environment

First time here - lunch with my wife and an out-of-state visitor. A really different setting - appears to be a really old residence or possibly a boarding house at one time. Pretty chopped up interior but charming. Service was excellent - we had many questions because of the unusual menu, and all were handled expertly. One of us had... More
