Worst restaurant I've ever eaten in

I ordered quiche. After 2 bites I found a large piece of waxed paper that covered the whole piece of crust and clearly had not been removed prior to baking. They didn't charge for it but had the nerve to charge me for the grilled cheese I ordered to replace it. My husband's shrimp wrap was awful... read more

Good service. Personnel are friendly and accomodating. Food is just ok. Some items like spaghetti and meatballs are very good, some like their fried foods are terrible. Desserts are very good. If you're hungry you'll probably be ok here. Prices are reasonable.

I've been here long time ago and it was fine then. But they must've had a new manager or new owner or whatever. I can tell from the fancy menu with a much higher price and an obviously decreased guest number. And soon we found why. Toasts and homefries were mostly burned out. What's funny is they served us with... More

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast. The food was served promptly. There was plenty of it and it was just above average in flavor and execution. The over-easy eggs were over hard and the scrapple was deep fat fried instead of pan-seared. The hash brown potatoes were unseasoned. But I really couldn't complain because the price point was... I know, I know. Four stars for the Limerick Diner? But c'mon you guys - it's open 24 hours and has booze. The menu is solid - almost too large, the desserts are good. The interior is definitely dated but what were you expecting? Service can be slow, but is always friendly. Limerick Diner is a great early morning, or... More

This is one of those diners that Just looks awesome from the outside..then you go in and its a little drab looking you get seated and with impressive menu in hand try to find something new and good but end up ordering something safe instead..mine of the "they can't screw this up right?" Type of dishes. Well about sixteen or... More

Maybe I'm spoiled with the great diners in New Jersey, but this place was slightly below average in my opinion. Food was just okay. Tables weren't the cleanest. On the bright side however, the staff was great. Very friendly.

My aunt and I order a Ruben sandwich and it was terrible. What I tasted was sauerkraut .I complained to the manager and she said that this is the way we make it !? Food less than mediocre and very overpriced. Never will go there again !

My wife and I wife love diners and try to go to many interesting looking ones. We stopped at the Limerick Diner today for lunch. We both ordered the snapper soup and were not really impressed with it. I had the cheeseburger which was huge and ordinary and my wife had the BLT which she felt was above average. The... More

My wife and I went in on 8/3/13 for lunch. We've never been here before and won't return. I'm not a fan of large menus and this place has a really large menu. My Chili over rice platter was okay, just okay. My wife's dish was really bad. She ordered the potato skins with cheese & bacon. The 4 potatoes... More
