Description: Our restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed beams and a mission-style décor, as well as a bar, several gas-burning fireplaces and two semi-private rooms for small functions of eight to 10 guests. Our eclectic menu features innovative American Regional fare, a delightful selection of appetizers, an array of daily specials, a carefully selected wine list and Sunday brunch. We believe in using the freshest ingredients possible, while supporting local suppliers. Our crab cakes especially, have gotten rave reviews – moist, tender, abundantly flavorful, packed with jumbo crabmeat and no fillers – and never breaded or fried! Our event facility can host meetings, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, luncheons and weddings. It offers an elegant pre-function room for hosting the cocktail hour and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 guests with a veranda overlooking the private lake.

The food here was very good and reasonably priced. The menu is not fancy food at all and seems a little disjointed from the ambiance. The decor is beautiful with an old house atmosphere and lots of rooms for large parties with great character. Definitely not for foodies, but great for my picky eater. I saw lots of kids, but... Took my wife here for here birthday. Made an OpenTable request for a nice romantic table and they honored that by sitting us by the fireplace. She loved it. Our waiter was exceptional. Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was very good and the price's weren't bad. Butter fish and crab special was particularly good. Sat at the bar for... More

Saw this very nice looking restaurant on a drive and was pleasantly when we entered. A nice combination of upscale and friendly bar. We ordered the Casear salad with anchovies which was outstanding and chicken crepes and Gnocchi & blackened chicken. The food was fantastic. The waitress we had wasn't the fastest or brightest, but the food made up for... More

My family and I went here for breakfast for a birthday. The food as terrible. The "scrambled eggs" were burnt, and dry. The breakfast meats were Ok at best.we will not be going back any time soon.

Tuesday night, quiet dining and most suitable food. I had the crab cake, daughter had the veal. Good choice , flavorful portions, quality service. One drawback, expensive drinks.

The special of the day was great a peach pork dish. Very tender and done very well lots of flavor. I would rate it a 5. But the cherry cheesecake was only a 1. Bland tasting if not for the cherries I would say it had no flavor. The meal start great but I like a good finish.

We have dined here several times. With food that is fairly common, this is no culinary destination. But, the menu has decent variety and most items are adequately prepared. Their beer, wine, and cocktail list is better than average and fairly priced. Their brunch was pretty disappointing, set up in a dark hallway with nothing very enticing besides made-to-order omelets.... More

Everything about our visit was average. The menu is extensive, which is never a great sign. Our waiter was rather detached and offered suggestions with no enthusiasm. Our house salads came quickly and then there was a long and unacceptable delay on our entrees. The waiter did a "Houdini" (disappeared) so I had to go up to the hostess station... More

Went for the brunch, we were seated promptly, but it took over 10 minutes for a waitress to come, you have to place your beverage order before going to the buffet. The buffest was okay, was better when it was the Lakeside Inn. The omelet was very good, cooked to order. After finishing, we had to wait over 10 minutes... More

We were in town for a girl's weekend, and Copperfield Inn was recommended to us by the staff in our hotel. We were a little wary since it has received so many mixed reviews; however, we were not disappointed. Among us, we had the blue cheese salad, steak medallions, crab meat pasta, and chicken piccata for dinner. All were delicious!... More
