Had dinner here Friday....over priced....small servings....took FOREVER! If you're looking for a better situation, walk across the street to the Town Tavern

We headed to Lewisberg for dinner this evening and had been steered (pun intended) into going to the Bull Run Inn. The place has a cool exterior with outside dining and a large bar just inside the front door. Since there were a few of us we got a booth. We ordered some appetizers which were standard tavern fare with... More

This didn't exactly inspire in terms of food expectations - it's downtown on Market St. in Lewisburg, and you walk in and see nothing that tells you it is anything except a bar for Bucknell students. That may well be the case, but on this day they shone. We sat outside at a tidy little roadside porch, and got -... More

The best I have ever had. The fish was haddock and firm and flaky and moist. The Guinness batter was light and did not detract from the fish. The chips were perfect, well done, just as I like them. All was served piping hot. The coleslaw was equally good. Tonight was an all you can eat and one serving was... More

For all the Bucknell students, Bull Run Inn is known as "the bar." It has become a fair fancy place since my college days. The bar now offers over 15 types of beer on tab. Also, many local beers are available in bottles. Try the buffalo wings!

Popped in a couple times before Bucknell basketball games.... quick brew and meal, but as promising as the place seems from the outside, it is only average at best, and that might even be stretching it. It seemed to me that our server at the bar was slow as molasses on purpose... even though we were two couples, it seems... More

If like a great selection of beer, you'll love the Bull Run Inn. Over 20 beers on tap, and the selection changes frequently. Of course the food is good (I had a great wrap sandwich) - and you have to love the onion rings. But the beer!!!!!

Was there recently on weekend for lunch with wife. Server was quick to come out...food was not. Food very, very average. House chips were best part of meal. Sandwich was very poor. Bread very dry, meat was hard on edges, not much to it. Wouldn't come back here at all. Servers were friendly I will say.

Nothing special for atmosphere, but the food was good and the service was good. Server was very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Nice place for groups to gather.

Visited there during Alumni weekend on a Friday about 5-7 PM and then on Sunday afternoon. The place was kind of empty both times but apparently picks up in the evenings. The bartenders were friendly but some were kind of distracted and overall service was spotty. Atmosphere was towards college bar type but OK. There were numerous draft beer choices... More
