I really want to like the Hotel, but it has gone from a place with delicious and inventive food to blah. Other than the crab bisque, the menu is expensive and not worth it. The California Caesar Salad used to be delicious, but recently was sooo disappointing. For the ridiculous price, I could have gotten better at a chain. Sad... More

Anyone finding him or herself in Lewisburg is already fortunate. The historic Main Street is beyond charming without suffering from the slightest whiff of cuteness. The hotel dates back to 1834 and is in perfect period condition. The dining room has beautiful wood panelling and subtle lighting, which creates a warm and welcoming environment. Our server Kelly couldn't have been... More

The bar is spectacular! The shiny wooden walls and stamped tin ceiling just invites you to order an Old Fashion or Martini as soon as you step inside for an afternoon bite. You call this Bar Food???? This is the BEST BAR FOOD I have ever had! The Chicken Quesadilla was HUGE and TASTY! Everything we ordered was AWESOME! A... More

I was in Lewisburg for my 25th university reunion and decided to give this place a try (after all, I have never been in this Lewisburg institution for the last 29 years.) The decoration and atmosphere gave you a feeling of a bygone age. Unfortunately, this is the only special aspect I can name. Services were just OK. Well, be... More

We had a late lunch in the bar area and it was quiet and the service friendly. The server recommended a local beer and it was fantastic. One of us had pulled pork and the other a salad with grilled chicken. Both were very good. I can't comment on dinner meals, but the lunch was rather good. I'll go back.

We were in between water polo games at Bucknell and cruising Market St for a place to grab a bite and a cold one. We decided on Cameron's Bar inside Lewisburg Hotel. We sat at the bar and Danielle was our bartender! We actually left for a game and game back in because of her. She was friendly attentive and... More

Visiting lovely Lewisburg on a college "look see". Was told by a hotel to go to this place for dinner. It was late at night and some of the places were closing down, so we went. Wow! What a terrible recommendation. Steak Hennessy was common "utility" or "select" beef with some doctored up supermarket steak sauce on top…basically inedible….took two... More

We like to go for a light supper on Friday at the bar. Usually find friends there. The decor was nicely done when redecorated several years ago: lots of oak but light and well lighted. We like the clams and the sunflower dusted chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Haven't eaten in the dining room for years.

Ordered fish and chips. Large portion was soggy. Ordered Lewis burger. cheese slices were unmelted. Soggy greasy French fries as side dish. Ordered medium rare and was well done. Waitress said she passed along comments to chef. There was no response to our comments. We will not return.

This is a quiet place with lots of atmosphere for a special dinner. We have eaten here twice. On both occasions we have been disappointed with the food, and the service was just so-so. This time I had the seafood "special" and it was not! The chef should have tasted it before serving. I advised the waitress accordingly. I expect... More
