This place is average and way too expensive for what you get. Seems to be over-run with tour buses and the retired set.
They have really good desserts and mostly good food. I had their buffet and it was ok but not the best. Service was good and the place has nice atmosphere. I will go back when in the area and try other dinners. It is a quiet, pleasant place to enjoy an evening.
I have visited this restaurant many times over the past years and always look forward to a good meal there. The Buffet is the best - with many different selections from soup, salad, main course meats, and sides and deliciuos homemade desserts! I usually always go for the buffet since I can't decide what to choose from the main menu.... More
We had been there before during prime buffet hours and found it a little hectic and crowded, but still good. This time was for an early dinner. We arrived about an hour before the regular buffet started and ordered ala-carte with help from the soup, salad, bread, and dessert bar. It was great! Good food, nice atmosphere, and friendly service.... More
Overall very good range of choices. Moderate prices. Efficient and polite service. Apparently a favorite among travelers too.
This is a number 1 not to miss experience. The Friday night buffet is super! The atmosphere is cozy but professional. They also advertise an acre of shopping.
Our family ate here 1/3/14 at 3:30PM, a late lunch/early dinner before continuing our drive north. It was a relaxing, delicious, delightful stop. I decided to try the pot roast sandwich. It was flavorful, tender, and filling! Definitely a great choice for a cold winter day! My son (16) ordered the mile high meatloaf - WOW! He devoured it, and... More
The country cupboard is an experience especially if your from out of town like we were when we first went there. The waitresses wear uniforms from back in the day, the food is so so and the experience I'm talking about is that the country cupboard is huge. It has the restaurant, a catering center for parties, bakery, the flower... More
If you want "all you can eat" from drink to dessert and have it taste like it's homemade, here's the place to go. Then go for an acre of shopping! Best broasted chicken you will ever taste and on Sat & Sun add some Prime rib and country ham to your endless plate. YUM!!
