I'll admit I wouldn't have found this diner if it hadn't been for Tripadvisor. I almost turned around. That being said, let me say that my wife & I have been back several times for breakfast when we are in the area. (It is 5.2 miles off the turnpike, stay right, opposite direction from Jim Thorpe) Don't worry, it's on... More

This is one of the few remaining places where you get more than you pay for. Few people can eat the generous breakfast portions that are given at a more than reasonable price. Goos personnel, food, country atmosphere. I like it...

Decided to try this little diner as I pass it on my way to work, there are always so many cars there that is peaked my interest. It's a local place, with local people working. The food is good, you get a good amount for what you pay. Would definitely go back there

We eat here often, The food is good and reasonably priced. The place is always very clean which is one of the first things I look for. The staff is friendly & accommodating to our needs.

We had only been here for breakfast before, which was decent, but over the last few weeks, they've been putting coupons in the paper for dinner, so we thought we'd give it a try. Specials were great for the money, and we would visit again. Nothing fancy, but food was good.

Breakfast food is not so bad, I had better. Lunch and dinner not so great. Worst part is the lady's bathroom is dirty all around. Dust, stain walls, toilets, the stalls. Then I've noticed restruant isn't keen on cleaning. Pictures were dusty where we sit to eat. If they can't keep the bathroom clean or elsewhere, what make ya think... More

Read the reviews and were excited to try this place. What a another disappointment. Steak was filled with fat and tasted funny like a sour dead deer, McDonald's fries (that tastes horrible), lemonade was a blend of water, Dawn dish soap, with a hint of lemon Pledge. Kids meal was unnutritional, and breakfast was a grease pit. Get it together... More

Looking at all the positive ratings, felt I had to give this place a try as I've never been there and it's not even 10 minutes from home. Definitely a friendly atmosphere if you are a local...saw and said hello to my mechanic and to a couple other neighbors as soon as I walked in. While I enjoyed the food,... More

Country View Diner BEST place to eat!!! Owner wonderful and very friendly. Service was great and food was delicious. Very busy with locals and people just passing by. Will definitely eat here again. Loved there turkey club sandwich and steak fries. Meatloaf if also very good. the family definitely enjoyed their meal. Keep up the good work.
