Prime Rib excellent

Went here with mother and sister. We had the prime rib, baked potato and salad. The prime rib was cooked to our specifications. Mother wanted scallops however, they offered her the baked seafood mix which she totally enjoyed. I recommend going earlier in the day as they can be quite busy. Wait... read more

I went there tonight for their half price wing night and was quite disappointed in the service. The waitress was barely around. It took her a while before she came over to take our order. When the food came out it was wrong and confusing. Someone in my party needed another drink and I needed more dressing so after waiting... More

It was rainy and late at night, and we did not want to venture far from our hotel. We had a wonderful waitress, although our orders did not come to us as we had ordered them. The waitress was sweet, talkative and clearly cared that we had a nice experience there. The food was fine, nothing special.

The atmosphere is old victorian house/ inn which was nice and casual. The servers were great. The food was good, not great but for the area it could be your best choice since there's limited options.

Have yet to dine here and have a bug-free or hair-free meal, and I tried as many times as my gag reflex would let me. Everything feels unclean and sticky ... utensils and glasses smudged and visibly dirty ... the whole place is just ... not for me.

We went for my friends birthday and their food was amazing. I had never been here. We had 2 little ones with us and the kids got spaghetti kids meals. The portions for the kids meals and our meals were very generous. We all had leftovers. We also brought our own cake for his birthday and they kindly gave us... More

This is the 2nd time we ate lunch at PJ Whelihans. Last year, we had a great waitress an the food was very good. This year we had a terrible waitress. Several other tables seated after U.S. Had their food before us. When we did get the food, it was cold and the appetizer came at the same time as... More

P.J. Whelihans and Platz's are one and the same restaurant, but they have separate Trip Advisor listings. At first it was known only as Platz's, but it joined the P.J. Whelihan's franchise several years ago. The sign hanging above the entrance carries both names, but "P.J. Whelihans" predominates. I have eaten here about five times over the years and have... More
