Don't let the outside fool you

We were on our way to Jim Thorpe, PA when we saw the Red Castle Brewery. Thought we would give it a try since they have their own craft beers. Well let me tell you something, we made the right decision. The inside is nothing like the outside. The bar is beautiful with many craft beers on tap... read more

This is a really small place with a very limited menu. I have had some of their Polish items and definitely not like my moms...but okay. Not to say that the food being brought out of the kitchen didn't look and smell great. We went around 7 pm...more to try the beer. Girls behind the bar and waitressing were great.... More

I recently went here and really enjoyed our experience. The food certainly was different but it was very good. I ordered the pulled pork burger and a side of perogies. I highly recommend as they also have their own beer on tap. This is worth checking out!

Small brewery, which served hamburgers made with fresh meat. Home made French fries. Tasty Polish dishes. Large selection of beers!

Went here in August 2014 (after renovations and reopening). Due to construction on the nearby bridge, usually only open on weekends. Hard to get in/out of parking lot (which is small). It is a small chalet like restaurant with nearly a dozen of its own brews on tap and a limited menu. Offered samples of their beer so we can... More

Yes. Perhaps next time I will call ahead before I drive many miles for Schnitzel. What anticipation. Out of meat ? "Has been out for days, & will be more days" .(owner/mgmt. priorities?) Ok, their premier Burger on the menu. No. We are Not putting our B-B-Q pork on that Big burger stated in clear print.." We would sell out... More

We stumbled across this place while driving from Bethlehem to Lehighton and immediately loved the food. We found ourselves making Numerous trips a month just to bring home dozens of pierogies.. However, The hours are inconsistent and the location makes it very difficult to pull out into traffic. As of lately, with the construction and lack of hours and a... More

Rebranded and reopened as a brew pub a few months ago, ill timed to traffic jamming construction on the nearby bridge, opening times on what is now called the Red Castle are spotty. It is a small Aframe chalet like brew pub, with nearly a dozen of its own brews on tap and a limited menu. I tried the mac... More

We love this little restaurant. Many kayakers stop here for a Polish dinner or a good hamburger and wonderful fries. Food is good and service is fast if we have other places to visit. I have not tried their beer but I hear good things about it.

We stopped in to try a microbrew and enjoy a snack on our way to Jim Thorpe for the weekend. What we found was friendly service (greeted and seated immediately and pleasantly), a charming atmosphere (nice decor and a bar/dining room that is both inviting and pristine), and an excellent pub menu that includes Polish delights and current culinary trends....
