We stumbled across this place while driving from Bethlehem to Lehighton and immediately loved the food. We found ourselves making Numerous trips a month just to bring home dozens of pierogies.. However, The hours are inconsistent and the location makes it very difficult to pull out into traffic. As of lately, with the construction and lack of hours and a... More

Rebranded and reopened as a brew pub a few months ago, ill timed to traffic jamming construction on the nearby bridge, opening times on what is now called the Red Castle are spotty. It is a small Aframe chalet like brew pub, with nearly a dozen of its own brews on tap and a limited menu. I tried the mac... More

We love this little restaurant. Many kayakers stop here for a Polish dinner or a good hamburger and wonderful fries. Food is good and service is fast if we have other places to visit. I have not tried their beer but I hear good things about it.

We stopped in to try a microbrew and enjoy a snack on our way to Jim Thorpe for the weekend. What we found was friendly service (greeted and seated immediately and pleasantly), a charming atmosphere (nice decor and a bar/dining room that is both inviting and pristine), and an excellent pub menu that includes Polish delights and current culinary trends.... We came upon Castle Grill by accident while traveling to Jim Thorpe PA. We like to try local brews when we travel and decided to stop in for lunch. This location is not typical to other breweries where we are given a little bit of history and details about the brews. It was difficult to decide if I liked the... More

Super good craft beer, although they change the styles too much. Food is unusual and very good. Location is not so good with very limited parking and tough to get in and out of.

The Polish menu items are tasty - try the Polish Plate - and the burgers are handmade. They also serve excellent local microbrew beers, and the staff is both friendly and attentive. We went expecting more of a "sit down" restaurant, but the feeling is more of a take-out joint. The only real detractor, though, was the draftiness of the... More

We stopped here on a whim on our way home from the Poconos, glad we did! The burger I had was amazing, we both thought they were great, and the hand cut fries were pretty good too.

Castle Grill serves authentic Polish staples as well as American favorites. Now they have added home brewed beer to the menu, billing themselves as the only brew-pub in Carbon County. On our last visit we tried the Golden Lager and the Raspberry Wheat drafts and were very pleased with both. An owner operated family restaurant, Castle Grill goes the extra... More

I stopped in over the weekend for a quick bite and was very happy that I did. Luckily, the place wasn't too busy so I was able to place my order rather quickly. Shortly afterward, the restaurant was mobbed and the service slowed down considerably. To my delight, many of the menu items were Pollish fare;homemade pierogies, halupkis (stuffed cabbage),... More
