I have been going to Ray's for years, and I still go, but it seems like every time I go now, the prices are higher, and the sandwiches are smaller. I totally understand that costs are getting higher, and prices need going up, but don't sacrifice quality, The last time I went, there was a really noticeable difference. Not nearly... More

My dad finally convinced me to try Rays. I was surprised by the quality. They pack the sandwich with meat. I am used to ordering extra cheese due to other pizzerias being cheap with the meat and cheese. Not needed here!! They are priced a little higher but you get what you pay for. I like that they sell a... More

I used to live in Lansdale and always went to Ray's for a good cheese steak sandwich. Now that I live away, I come to Ray's whenever I am within a 1 hour radius. Best cheese steaks in the area hands down. It is not a fancy place but if you want a good cheese steak, then this is the... More

Ray's seems to raise their prices on the steaks & cheese steaks by 10 or 15 cents every 6 months. My takeout menu that I got at the end of 2013 is already out of date. To add insult to this, the cheese steaks are getting smaller. It used to be that you had to eat one over a plate... More

I have been going to ray's for years. I have always loved their food. The past few times I have gotten a cheese steak they were so very overcooked that I couldn't even finish it. I talked to others who have eaten there and was told their food is just not as good as it used to be.

I spent most of my life living in Philly where cheese steaks, pizza and hoagies ("subs", for those who don't know better) were a staple. I can tell you the Ray's cheese steaks are up there with some of the best you'll find in Philly - and I DON"T mean Pat's or Geno;s. Everyone knows that they're no good unless... More

Ray's has amazing cheesesteaks - bread is fresh, steak is piled on and not too greasy, big, thick slices of real onion and large, fresh (not canned) mushrooms with plenty of provolone. Pizza is passable, jalapeño poppers are serviceable and I haven't really tried the burgers or anything else on the menu. My biggest beef (no pun intended) is that... More

Great cheesesteaks for good price at this tiny place. Seating is limited and it gets hot inside during summer time. Try and get a table close to the door if dining in.

We have driven out of the way to get these cheesesteaks because we can't eat them from anywhere else! The roll is soft and delicious, the seasoning is perfect and they are decently stuffed.

Bottom line... The cheesesteaks are second only to Pudges, the pizza is maybe average. The soups are very good as well as their appetizers and sides. Basically, if you want a cheesesteak and can't get to Pudges, this is where you want to be.
