Good and reliable

Was in town looking at the Christmas lights at the Shady Brook Farm and was hungry for dinner. Our 2nd time to Moish and Itzy's and we were not disappointed. Very children friendly which is a must with our grandchildren. All kinds of sandwiches and excellent meats. A must when in the area.

Who doesn't love a good deli??? Well this isn't it. The first time I felt the food was ordinary and overpriced. But I decided to give it a second chance. This time I went in with my teenage son for a late breakfast. I just had 2 eggs and bacon and he had an omelette and juice. The plates were... More

I stopped in to pick up bagels, nova, cream cheese, pickled herring and olives for a nice brunch.I waited almost 10 minutes before I was helped, and there were no other customers at the counter. I was actually disappointed in the quality of the food. The nova was sliced unevenly, and there was some inedible bits. The pickled herring had... More

We had a great breakfast as usual. The prices may scare you but the portions are in line with the prices. The food is good. Lunch here is terrific as well. The only downer was our waitress was not the best. She seemed to go through the motions only. We had to ask for more coffee. When the waitress finally... More

Great Motza Ball soup, and any soup for that matter. The ruebens are all good and not greasy, even afetr I took it to go and was sitting in a bag for 25 minutes. Breakfast all day and it is great. This is a Jewish deli style restaurant, you ill be overfed and like it! Always enough to bring home... More

I still hate this deli highly because we've been here so many times but this time on a very busy Sunday morning service was off - and breakfast was served "in pieces" with different people's food coming out at different times. Corned beef hash was cooked to death - and drier than dust - hard to eat even with poached... More

Although Newtown, PA may not be a destination for most, I would recommend dropping by just to have lunch here. I For me, I am a big fan of a fresh pastrami sandwich and this place has always been consistently very good. If you are a fan of matzaball soup, make sure to grab a bowl of this and perhaps... More

Moish & Itzy’s is a long established delicatessen situated in the Summit Square near Newton, PA. The internationally know George School is around the corner on Rt. 413. In terms of being a delicatessen it offers a broad array of breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner alternatives with a Jewish flair. However, while presenting a very broad selection of good food... After four months of south west Florida "deli" food, we are back to real deli food. Say what you may but when a "deli" doesn't have real lox and other bagels besides egg, or they look at you funny when you ask for coleslaw and Russian dressing on your turkey sandwich on RYE, you start to go into withdrawal. Food... More
