Hubby and I tend to stop here and split a hoagie when we are out running errands (ONE is MORE than enough to share for two people), and they are conveniently located next to a Dunkin Donuts so we get our coffee there as well. They must pack about a pound of meat in their hoagies and rolls are always... More

When I used to live in Pennsylvania, this was one of my favorite places to visit for lunch. Not only do they provide great food, but the service is very prompt. Although I no longer live in the area, I did make the effort to drive 40 minutes out of my way to come visit this place during my last... More

Move over Ginos and Pat's steaks in South Philly ... Steve's Prince of Steaks has you hands down! You will get the "Best of Philly" at Steve's at either location, US 1 or Roosevelt Blvd. The french fries are to die for also! Love it! We no longer live in Philly and return twice a year. Our family is convinced... More

I was visiting the area for business and decided to stop here for an authentic Philly cheesesteak. I was not disappointed! It's quirky and the atmosphere was great. I got a cheesesteak with onions, provolone, and sweet peppers. It was large and delicious. I got fries on the side and there were so many that there was no way I... More

This place is great. We really enjoy going to Pat's or Geno's but if we cannot make it all the way down to South Philly we really enjoy Steve's. They do it exactly like the more famous places in Philly. We highly recommend going here. Be careful though. They do not take credit cards. They do have an ATM on... More

The cheesesteaks at Steve's are as good, if not better than any in Philadelphia. They use great rolls, and a lot of steak. There are several different cheeses to choose from. The staff was very friendly and professional. There is limited seating.

I couldn't go to the classic places downtown because I had a meeting out in Bucks County. But when I saw this was highly rated in an article on GQ for Philly I decided it was worth a try. (http://www.gq.com/blogs/the-feed/2014/01/alan-richman-10-best-cheesesteaks-in-philadelphia.html) I was glad I went! I arrived a little after 1:30 so the place had already cleared out for lunch.... I'm from New Hampshire. I was in the area and someone recommended this place to me. It's the real authentic thing! Even though it's not "technically in Philly", it's 6 miles from the city limits and it saves you the hassle of having to go downtown. It's just a couple of minutes from Cairn University. They give you a bunch... More

Great cheese steak, excellent large cheese burger which is an excellent price. this maybe a hidden gem with little inside seating but the food is worth the trip to check out for yourself. Cash only
