If you want to eat a real deal Philly steak without going into the city, come here! Bring cash as they don't take plastic. Prices are a little high, but so is the quality of the steaks.

Always a hit in my book... I get the American cheese but sometimes I break down and get the Whiz (Cheese Whiz) ABK

There are plenty of places for a good cheese steak or chicken cheese steak in the area. We hadn't been back to Steve's for a few years and decided to give it another shot. Fries are good. Chicken cheese steak was very dry.... It took a LOT of ketchup to make it even remotely edible. Also, they're on the restaurant.com... More

Visited Steve's Prince of Steaks last night for the first time in a long time. After shelling out $8.88 for a cheesesteak, I thought to myself "this better be a good cheesesteak". Well, for that money it was pretty darn skimpy and the roll was too spongy for a steak sandwich. I'd rate it the same as the overpriced, tourist-trap... More

In the Philly area, people tend to go on and on about a few specific locations for the authentic Philly cheese-steak sandwich. The reality is, all around the Philly area there are tons of places to get great cheese-steaks and more. You do not have to travel anywhere far in the area to get very good to excellent cheese-steak sandwiches.... More

This was our second time getting sandwiches at Steve's. Quality is very good and consistent. We had chicken cheesesteaks with fries. The rolls are very fresh, the chicken was seasoned well and juicy, and the fries were crisp and delicious. The cheesesteaks are large enough to share. There's not much seating available. There's a counter that runs along the front... More

Hubby and I tend to stop here and split a hoagie when we are out running errands (ONE is MORE than enough to share for two people), and they are conveniently located next to a Dunkin Donuts so we get our coffee there as well. They must pack about a pound of meat in their hoagies and rolls are always... More

When I used to live in Pennsylvania, this was one of my favorite places to visit for lunch. Not only do they provide great food, but the service is very prompt. Although I no longer live in the area, I did make the effort to drive 40 minutes out of my way to come visit this place during my last... More

Move over Ginos and Pat's steaks in South Philly ... Steve's Prince of Steaks has you hands down! You will get the "Best of Philly" at Steve's at either location, US 1 or Roosevelt Blvd. The french fries are to die for also! Love it! We no longer live in Philly and return twice a year. Our family is convinced... More
