The cheesesteaks at Steve's are as good, if not better than any in Philadelphia. They use great rolls, and a lot of steak. There are several different cheeses to choose from. The staff was very friendly and professional. There is limited seating.

I couldn't go to the classic places downtown because I had a meeting out in Bucks County. But when I saw this was highly rated in an article on GQ for Philly I decided it was worth a try. (http://www.gq.com/blogs/the-feed/2014/01/alan-richman-10-best-cheesesteaks-in-philadelphia.html) I was glad I went! I arrived a little after 1:30 so the place had already cleared out for lunch.... I'm from New Hampshire. I was in the area and someone recommended this place to me. It's the real authentic thing! Even though it's not "technically in Philly", it's 6 miles from the city limits and it saves you the hassle of having to go downtown. It's just a couple of minutes from Cairn University. They give you a bunch... More

Great cheese steak, excellent large cheese burger which is an excellent price. this maybe a hidden gem with little inside seating but the food is worth the trip to check out for yourself. Cash only

This is a good cheesesteak compared to the ones in NYC but I don't think that says a lot. While I like the thick piece of steak, it feels quite unsatisfying. Really? Just one piece? There is more bun than meat. And what is the deal of paying separately for sandwich and drink? So inconvenient and looks like something that... More

Thicker cut than the steak-um meat you get in Philly, great service and fantastic taste. Do yourself a favor and find out what you have been missing if you haven't tried Steve's

I did Steve's years ago at the original on Princeton Ave. for years. I grww up in the neighborhood. Steve's on Comley cariied over the same great food, and now Route 1 is also as good. Order and eat a great Philly cheesesteak! And Steve is not a Bigot like Joey Vento of Geno's was!!!!

Steve's has my favorite cheesesteak of all time. I didn't even know if I would like cheesesteaks when I moved to the Philadelphia region, but I had an "American With" from Steve's and fell in love. The sandwich is huge, and you'll eat yourself silly, but no matter the heart burn it's incredibly worth it. I also order the chocolate... More
