Right on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College. We like to sit outside and speculate how many bricks our tuition payments bought in the new dorm across the street, while we enjoy the excellent food. Never had a bad entree; they have all been highly enjoyable! My husband always enjoys the beer. Me, not so much. I really only... More

We just finished a great meal at Iron Hill with our 3 yo son and by this place is packed! I was a bit worried upon entering when she said there was a 45 minute wait, but luckily a table as opening up in the bar area which serves the full menu and is first come first serve. So, we... More

We were in town for a few days and staying conveniently at the hotel just down the street. We had peeked inside earlier in the day and liked what we saw. I wish we had made reservations. (can be made on their web site) When we did arrive for dinner we were offered either the dining room or pub, so... More

I love this place. Iron Hill is awesome. Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Lancaster. They have a little bit of everything. The atmosphere is great. The service is always wonderful. The food is fantastic. However, it gets busy fast so make a reservation ASAP. It is also pretty expensive, but you will not be disappointed if you eat here.

this place was heaving on a Sunday night, staff very attentive. Good samplers of the beer that they brew were available. Average pub food, but a good night out.

Making reservations online is very helpful. They sat us exactly at our reservation time. Walk ins appeared to have a wait of 30-45 min, but is was a Saturday night. Most of the party enjoyed their meals. Chicken pot pie was not all white meat chunks...enough said. The naked burger was good though. The place is known for their beer,... More

The title says it all. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, plus it was relatively crowded so had a good vibe. The food was average at best. The menu seemed too big to trust some of the options they had on there. The beer prices were good, $5.75 for 22oz is great.

This bar is across the street from the Franklin & Marshall campus in LancasterPa. It has a good mix of people from every age group. It's a good bar to be at on a gameday. The brews are very good. The Grub is of a higher quality than you will find at comparable bars.

Iron Hill as it is referred to is a very nice casual lunch - dinner with an interesting menu of choices - from my resturant years - I NEVER judge beer as not learned the art of appreciation - I am told their beers are very good ! The service has ranged from Excellent to Hmmmmm... but all & all... More

Food is consistently good at Iron Hill, prices are a little higher than the average restaurants in town. Can have a sampler of some of the local beers but also has full bar for those who don't drink beer.
