Coming out of New Orleans, Rice and Noodles makes amazingly authentic and tasty pho and Vietnamese food at greatly reasonable prices.
Im sick. I have a terrible head cold. I have heard the best thing to do for this is a big hot bowl of Vietnamese Pho. Being open to anything and the fact that I happened to be in Lancaster I decided to go with the rumors and see if Pho could cure me. This restarunt is in an old... More
I eat Asian food all over the world and this is good stuff. While I only had a take out experience as I had a lot of work piled up at my hotel a web search of best restaurants in Lancaster popped up Rice & Noodles. Goi Cuon Ga Nuong (shrimp spring rolls) and Bun Thit Nuong which is a... More
After going many times to this amazing restaurant, i was able to meet many of the staff who work at this establishment. They are an amazing family with extensive history in the cooking industry. Their hard work is evident in every dish they serve. Absolutely amazing quality, and for great prices. Definitely many of my best meals were served here.
We're always looking for a good gluten-free meal, and we were not disappointed by Rice and Noodles. Since moving to Pennsylvania we've had a hard time finding decent Asian food that is safely gluten-free and when we came across reviews of Rice and Noodles while planning a trip we made a detour to eat there. We were not disappointed by... More
Wanted to try this recommended restaurant in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Vietnam. It did not disappoint. We shared a bowl of won ton soup, so delicious. It reminded us of some we had in Hong Kong. My husband had a banh mi ga nuong. Yummy bread for this sandwich. I had a rice platter with shrimp and sticky... More
Rice & Noodles catered my wedding. I'm serious. It was delicious--and affordable. Even my aunt enjoyed it. There are two kinds of restaurants in the world: the ones that are all atmosphere with no substance--like musical theater with great sound and bad singing--and the ones, consistently understated, that grab your attention with the first bite. Rice & Noodles is this... More
Just ate there again two nights ago. Went late, the place was still packed. Minimal wait though, and we were lucky to get three people seated at a table for two. It was worth the wait again. Is it a "WOW, OMG I've never had anything like this" kind of place? For some it is, the first few times you... More
My kids had never had Vietnamese cuisine, but we are all for encouraging them to try different foods. We had rice paper rolls with shrimp as an appetizer, they had kids beef noodle soup and my husband and I each had a chicken with rice dish that I have no idea what it was called. We just asked for recommendations... More
When was the last time you ran out of a restaurant and were hell-bent on getting to your laptop to shout about a place from the proverbial rooftops? Well, folks, I found that place in, of all places, Lancaster, PA. Would you believe Vietnamese of all things? In LANCASTER? Like finding seafood in the Kalahari. This place is much more... More
