Nice atmosphere, but the lunches are a little pricey

We've eaten at the Greenfield Inn for lunch on numerous times for mostly special occasions. It has a nice atmosphere, but I feel some of the prices on the lunch menu are a little steep for what one gets. On this occasion, it was a group of 11 celebrating a birthday. We had reservations and when we... read more

Our first visit to the Greenfield Inn was last year, and we knew then we'd be back. We stayed three nights in Lancaster this trip. Two of those three nights we had dinner at the Greenfield! Beautiful setting with dining opportunities in a main dining room with fireplace, very cozy, or their Trellis Lounge, which is more open and has... More

My wife and I had the choice of several good restaurants in Lancaster and chose Greenfield. It was a good choice. The food, service and relaxed atmosphere was excellent for a nice quiet dinner. Would definitely go again if given the chance.

We came for brunch to celebrate my sons engagement. The food was good but the menu was basically eggs, salads and more formal dinner items. It wasn't really a brunch menu. Service was incredibly slow and I had ordered a celebration cake when I made the reservation which they didn't know anything about. Clientele was more of the elderly crowd.... More

We have dined here three or four times and our earlier experiences have been very good but something changed. Staff not as professional as they once were, food is okay but not great as it once was. The hostess tried to act as if she cared but I don't think she did. We will not be back. Ever..

This is one of our favorite places to go because we can count on a great selection and always happy to have the wonderful crabmeat cocktail and seasonal entrees. The drinks are inventive and wine choices are very nice.

We travelled from York , and it has been more than 5 years since our last visit. Greenfield has excellent catering ,as they had catered our Daughter's reception. We still have people who talk about the food at the Wedding, Quality food that is well worth the price. I had Broccoli Crab Soup that was a first for me, and... More

Went there for a business dinner this week. Stopped by the bar early for some happy hour drinks. Wine selection was good and full bar options also. We were brought to our table by the great/friendly hostess and were seated upstairs with a view of the downstairs. We were greeted by our very unfriendly waitress who argued when we sent... More

We selected the Olde Greenefield Inn as the restaurant to prepare most of our post-Christmas family dinner at our home. Ray Sr. and Jr. were excellent to work with and the food was outstanding. The black angus ribs were the biggest hit of all but the scottish salmon fillets and chicken milan were delicious. Everyone loved the crispy caesar salad... More
