This restaurant has had consistantly great food and continues to be reliable for fine dining in Lancaster. Some of our favorites include the french onion soup, cashew chicken salad, beef sliders, orzo salad, salmon, and we love the filet mignon! They often have great specials and seafood. They have a wonderful wine selection and a beautiful patio when the weather... More

After recommendatiion, my wife and I made reservation for our anniversary. We were told to eat in the wine cellar as it was reportedly romantic. We arrived (thursday evening) and were seated in the wine cellar, no one else was seated there but us. next to our table was a wine barrel that had someones old dirty dishes still sitting... More

I am a born and raised Lancastrian now living in Arizona. I was home for a 50th reunion and my friend and I needed a place for lunch. We chose the Greenfield Inn, not far from her home. We had the best salads - a yummy autumn salad with fall vegetables and apples. My friend had salmon on hers and... More

Well, it wasn't awful but it could have been so much better. Very nice dining room, tastefully decorated. Service was very good. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The chef is trying too hard with the fusion thing. There were so many adjectives describing the flavors, when the waitress recited the specials we had to ask her to repeat... More

They have a very nice Happy Hour on Friday. The lounge area is very nice with a gentlemen playing the piano. They have free food although the beef was a little tough. I wasn't that hungry so I just had the French Onion Soup, which was good. My husband had the Grouper Platter for $32. He had to cut it... More

My wife and I were on a tight schedule and part of the reason we chose Greenfield Inn was that it was open at 9:00 am. Needed to get on the road. Most other restaurants opened later than 9:00 am. So we arrive at the restaurant and it is an old 1700's farmhouse. What a great setting. A fireplace (no... More

Looking like a country inn, this restaurant is sophisticated without being stuffy. Inside there are a couple of dining rooms. Piano music is offered on weekends in the dining room with the bar. Brunch is served on an outdoor terrace filled with plants. The New Generation pork chop is highly recommended. Thick and juicy it is what anyone who likes... More
