Always great!

A piece of Lancaster's history. Great people, great food, low prices, big servings, I'm a regular almost every week. Love it!

We arrived on a Saturday night and the restaurant was completely empty except for the bar. The specialty on the menu is spaghetti. Other than that the menu consists of mostly sandwiches. We all ordered the spaghetti and it was the worst we have ever had including canned spaghetti. The sauce was dark colored and bitter. The noodles were over... More

Simple family made food and fantastic value. Owned by the same family since before WW11. Egg salad sandwich for lunch was made just perfectly. Small bar attached to the café with the cheapest drinks menu I have seen since I arrived in the USA. Would love to be a local....

A friend revisited a haunt from his past! And I got to come along! It is like the neighborhood bar 30-40 years ago with locals of all ages. We shared an eggplant parm which was very good. At about 8:30 a makeshift band with two accordians and a trumpet started playing! A real step back in time and so much... More

They have lots of pictures on the walls that tells a lot about the owners and their siblings. They have specials every week. They make homemade waffles for chicken and waffles for a special. I haven't tried them yet and I plan too, because I heard they are excellent. They have outdoor seating now. Also serve a great breakfast. Great... More

We love Valentino's. They serve the best spaghetti in town. The sauce recipe has been handed down over three generations in this tiny bar and restaurant on Lancaster's west side. Great for families, friends and kids. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a great plate of spaghetti.

Worst Italian food we have ever eaten. Salad was okay but the eggplant parmigiana was so breaded it was hard to find the eggplant. The spaghetti served on the same plate looked like it had been cooked much earlier and sat like an ugly glob on the plate. The tomato sauce was tasteless, I make much better at home and... More

Best Spaghetti and meatball dinner in Lancaster County! Good place to come as you are: jeans, shorts, or dressed up. Family buisiness that treats all like family. Have been coming here since the the 1980's. Many good memories and always wonderful food and drink. So glad they no longer allow smoking. a place we have brought all our children, now... More

Great, local tucked away place. Not a four star restaurant by any means but great homemade dishes. Absolutely love their "Turkey Balls" which is like Thanksgiving dinner all rolled up into a ball. Laid back, come as you are staff and patrons. One of a kind Groundhog Day celebration, too, for the young at heart and drinking and parade enthusiasts.... More

Wonderful experience! All homemade Italian food and tasted great! I had the spaghetti and meatball meal and garlic toast. Service was attentative and quick. It's a small single room eatery but it is perfext, you really feel at home.
