Had breakfast here on a cold windy morning. There could not have been any better sanctuary. Absolutely great breakfast, service was attentive, portions large and price was reasonable. Neptune's has an extensive menu; scrapple and cream chipped beef were especially good. This is a destination restaurant, a must when in Lancaster.

Neptune Diner was featured on the "Meatloaf Paradise" episode of the Food Paradise series. Naturally I wanted to try the meatloaf when I visited. Unfortunately, I stopped in too early. Breakfast was all that was available. The meatloaf wasn't ready yet. Instead I ordered the Chipped Beef Melt - a three egg cheese omelet with homefries covered with creamed chipped... More

I love diners. More so then the chain restaurants. There's something about diners that just makes me feel comfortable. Maybe its the laid back feeling or just the atmosphere its self, I don't know really but I've always enjoyed diners. Anyway...... Neptune diner is one of my favorites for many reasons they serve breakfast all day and there crab cakes... More

We stopped at Neptune on our way to visit F & M University. With the exception of parking, this is a classic american diner. The staff is friendly, service and food are fine. We will go here every time we visit Lancaster.

We asked the parking lot attendant where to go for a great breakfast after visiting the Lancaster central market. He said Neptune's diner had the best around.. he wasn't wrong! I had the eggs a la Neptune and Mom had the eggs Benedict. Mine was just like hers, but had crab imperial instead of Canadian bacon. OMG, the eggs were... More

Saw this gem on the travel channel. They declared it one of the best meatloaf dinners in America.....not so much! I've had better meatloaf at Cracker Barrel. It was good and the portions were crazy for the price, but I wouldn't go out of the way for it.

Shared a delicious lunch with my favorite sister on a Saturday at noon. Not terribly busy, good service, server was very friendly and attentive. I had a crab BLT which was great and sister had potato soup (delicious and thick) and a fabulous burger. We shared the home cut, crispy fries. It's just a fun place if you love old... More

Decided to stop out here while I was in town after seeing it on Food Paradise. Great diner atmosphere. Great waitstaff.... Very friendly and attentive. I agree with other posts, could be cleaned up a bit more. I did get the meatloaf dish they are known for and it was good. Liked the idea for the combo of items on... More
