Amazing Service, Exceptional Food

This place is classic and one of a kind. Situated underground some tourists might miss it in Lancaster. But that's okay by me because then it's a townie's secret spot. The filet is to die for, melts like butter in your mouth. The wine list is extensive with a well educated staff. The bar is fun and... read more

We were a lunch party of 6, post-Elizabethtown College graduation. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. I split the sizeable warm mushroom salad with my wife, and LOVED the lamb meat balls entree. I also tasted the pork quesadilla and would have been happy had I made that my entree choice as well! The Guillaman was a fine substitute for... More

In town for business and our team was recommended to come for dinner. We of course checked it out on TA and the reviews sounded promising. There were 7 of us, and they easily accommodated us on a Tuesday evening. I'm going to go short-hand for this review: Positives: Seafood Scrapple appetizer and pork belly were excellent. Housemade Black Pepper... More

My first time at Carr's. My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with dinner and a show at the Fulton. There are many good places to eat near the Fulton but not always easy to get reservations before a show unless you plan well in advance. I researched our dinner options in Lancaster using "Trip Advisor" and settled... More

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Carr's prior to a show at the Fulton. Our waiter - Chris - was great and let us know he knew we were heading to the show, so we could relax and know he would be sure to get us out on time. I had the crab cake and it was great...my husband had the... More

My wife and I had Easter brunch here. We were promptly seated, and presented with a classic brunch menu, plus Easter specials of lamb and ham. What was very special about this menu was the slight variations to the offerings. Eggs Benedict, with a fine layer of spinach and a fried tomato set this dish way apart from the classic.... More

The food was not the best I've had, nor was it the worst. My rule of thumb is the food I am being served needs to be at least as good I as I can make, and with that in mind Carr's was average. I could make the food equally as well, but I was not disappointed. The prices were... More

Carrs felt very much like dining in a beautiful NY restaurant. Food is beautifully prepared and the service matched. Unfortunately we had to leave before dessert (a show to see). I had scallops...they were cooked exactly the way they should...not a moment too long! We dwere 4 adults...all were pleased with our meals. Highly recommend Carrs. We called to say... More

Went to COSCO in Lancaster and ate here with another couple. Were seated promptly in the wine cellar, great drinks menu, nice smooth Chardonnay, great service, and the food was outstanding. I'd definitely eat here again. Parking was a little challenging, but we're not familiar with downtown Lancaster.

We looked for a good Restaurant near to our hotel , we read the reviews of Carr’s restaurant and decided to go there. Location is very tricky ,because is on a close street that we didn’t see it easily When we did our reservation, they told us it was complete busy and booked all night Saturday 14th, then we decided...
