First Timers Who Very Much Enjoyed Our Meal

My wife and I won a gift certificate at a fund raiser for two meals here some time ago and decided to use it last evening. The restaurant wasn't crowded at our 5:45 p.m. arrival time and overall the décor and feel is minimalistic but overall it was very clean. Our server was very friendly and... read more

The food was lack luster. The center cut pork chops were very tough and not trimmed like a center cut. The baby beef was dry and the cold gravy did not help. The stuffing was tasty and we enjoyed the lima beans. The salad bar was scant but ok. The service is poor. Drink refills are difficult to get. No... More

The convenience of the location of this restaurant is what motivates me to visit it. I've had dinner there several times in the past 12 months, and while it's never been something to rave about, with the exception of their dessert pies (have tried several flavors, none were worthwhile), the food has always been what one would expect from a... I read that someone complained about the serving staff yelling orders across the room. I've never witnessed that in over 6 years of eating there, but I usually go only for breakfast or lunch. Portions are large enough that I ask for reduced size because I'll never eat it all. It's one of the few places that has the kind... More

There was eleven of us. Six adults and five children under the age of nine. The kids were hot because we had just come from trying to take family portraits. Plus we basically had just been turned away from the restaurant next door. When we told the young gentleman how many, he went immediately to get our tables put together.... More

Five years ago, I used to be a "regular" for breakfast, often eating there several days a week. The food was usually good, although the eggs were sometimes undercooked. Coffee was good. What made me stop going regularly was the waitresses. The service was poor, and they wouldn't often "bark" your order across the room for all to hear. There... More

My family had just finished a photoshoot and we were looking for a place to have a light lunch. There were 11 of us, including 5 children. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken very soon afterwards. Sunny, our waitress was very attentive and patient as she took our food orders. The food arrived quickly and it was hot... More

as i sat there and ate my food I was very dissapointed to see how this restaurant was ran. There were customers going behind the counter that clearly did not work there. That to me is a huge turn off The cooks yelling at the waitress to pick up food while she is extremely busy and taking orders. The food... More

After a string of mediocre restaurant experiences, I promised myself I would not write another review until I found a restaurant that I could say nice things about. Wouldn't you know....I found it in the very next place I went to. ...The Bridgeport Family Restaurant. I try to evaluate a place for what it is...not what it wants to be.... More

A very small salad bar was the best thing here. Food seemed like all pre packaged and heated up. The dinner rolls reminded us of those things you get in the school cafeteria.
