Consistantly delicious...and they offer an amazing lunch!

The Belvedere Inn offers a delicious menu and a beautiful atmosphere for dining in Lancaster. Their lunch cannot be beat, reasonably priced for the flavorful dishes they offer. The chicken and bean ragout is amazing, as well as there many specials or their signature grilled cesar salad. Definitely... read more

The Belvedere is my favorite restaurant in Lancaster. From the seductive atmosphere when you walk through the door to the aroma of amazing foods, this place is an outstanding place to dine. There are 2 bars and two dining areas - of which all have a special welcoming character. Upstairs is Crazy Shirly's. There is a lounge area where you... More

In downtown Lancaster. The building is beautifully restored, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The special appetiser, Kobe Burgers, was not as good as I hoped. The short ribs were!

Don't order the sea scallops unless you enjoy getting food poisoning. My husband and I took our family there on April 7, and 3 members of our family, including my 90 year old grandmother, got sick within 2 hours of eating the sea scallop entree. Needless to say, can't recommend this restaurant.

Went with my wife to the Belvedere, it was recommended by many. Found the lighting poor, food was average and overpriced, and the service was horrible. Waiter had an attitude and was tipped appropriately.

Outstanding service and a wonderful atmospheric but, the best is the food. Consistency matters more to me than most anything else. And the food as Belvedere is always excellent. It is a real treat to go for lunch of dinner.

The food here was pretty good but didn't come out warm enough. The wine list was great and our appetizer was really good, but was a little disappointed with our entrees. The ambiance and entertainment makes this place worth it for any occasion!

We've been to The Belvedere many, many times. Can't think of a time that we've ever been disapponited (maybe just that once when they didn't have the 3x chocolate cream brulee on hand, but what are you gonna do?). Very good service and a wonderful menu. Have gone with girlfriends, with the hubby, other couples, etc. Try it, you'll like... More

Coming from the DC region I've dined at some of Washington's finest restaurants, like Citronelle. But sometimes the experience doesn't live up to the hype. On the other hand, sometimes the most unlikely of restaurants surpasses those expectations. The Belvedere Inn came highly rated and I expected to be pleased, but was not expecting to have the best sea scallops... More
