Great ambiance

A lovely old victorian inn. The outside porch is amazing, however the food was disappointing. Unheated rolls just "out of the bag", small portions. The grilled salad is really great though.

Delectable! We shared the grilled Caesar salad and cinnamon roasted short rib raviolis as appetizers. My mother has Chilean sea bass in a red coconut curry as her main dish, and I had the swordfish with polenta. Could not have been better! Also the service was excellent and ambiance really lovely as well.

The food and the ambiance are awesome. The service is very attentive. Every special on the menu was wonderful and so hard to choose from. We went there for our anniversary and were very surprised to have a champagne toast & a table card congratulating us. It was a very nice touch.

We had top notch service from our server, Josh. We ate there on a Sunday evening and had called to make a reservation but they assured us that we didn't need one. We told them this upon our arrival and we were quickly seated. It is very fancy but this was a special occasion. We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.... More

The service was excellent. The atmosphere was charming and elegant. We did not find it to be too dark and there was a good amount of room between tables which was nice. We had the steamed mussels, Kobe beef sliders and crab dip appetizers. The mussels were great. For entrees we had the veal, salmon, short ribs and sea bass.... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the rest. I had concerns based on the photos that the portions would be small. I was wrong they were very filing with out being grossly huge. If fact, with an appetizer and entree we had to refuse dessert; there was just no room. But each dish had lovely flavors , refreshing and satisfying. The customer service was... More

Our first time eating here. We live in Reading and get tired of the same old restaurants, so we're branching out into Lancaster County. Parked in the garage per their directions, turned the corner and we were there! Warmly greeted, shown to a lovely table, love the decor, outstanding service, and a great meal! No negatives--all positives! Very pleased. We'll... More

I was there for lunch recently. I ordered the lobster bisque - it was thin but delicious. I also ordered the Grilled Caesar Salad - a customer favorite, which I've ordered in the past. It is a full piece of char-grilled romaine lettuce with caesar dressing, parmigiano reggiano, & croutons. It came with far too much dressing & shredded cheese... More

We had a fabulous family meal here. I was not too sure whether I would get my steak exactly how I like it but they couldn't have cooked it better, bellissimo! Bar service and table service were both good. The only down side was the fact that it was so dark.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Lancaster. Its clean, quaint and relatively quiet. We think the secret is sitting upstairs where it's a little more discreet and you'll find live jazz being played several nights a week. They constantly tweak with their menu giving you reasons to come back again and again. The portions aren't overwhelming, which is... More
