Stopped by upon a good review by the Patriot news, and sat at one of the high tops. 20 minutes later...no acknowledgement by the bartender, I'm thinking something is wrong ,and only those seated at the bar may get served. That would be correct. Some seats opened up and we moved to the bar, whereas the bar tender greeted us... More

Just visited the Taproom for the first time today. At first, I was a big fan of the overall atmosphere. Then, it took almost 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the bartender. We later placed our food order and I kid you not, it took over an hour for 3 sandwiches. We approached 3 different employees while waiting this... More

Don’t take this the wrong way as I love almost every beer they brew, but this “taproom” was quite disappointing. I was expecting to pay good prices for their beer as well, and it’s sad when I can go to another Brewery/Restaurant, get SpringHouse beer on draft and bottle cheaper there. It’s something you definitely need to experience once, but... More

It's just an empty room with a bunch of beer taps. Very plain, no atmosphere. The menu is deep fried, fast food. Don't plan on eating there. There's a lot better places in town.

Recently stopped in the Taproom by Spring House Brewing Co. I have had their brews bottled and have enjoyed them, so I wanted to experience tasting more of their offerings. Part of enjoying craft beers is the experience of tasting with other people to compare notes, and talk with people that work there about what goes into each brew. This... More

I have been here a few times now and each time gets better. I think that they have some of the best beer I have ever had. I have tried their pumpkin ale, chocolate mint stout, and chocolate peanut butter stout and love them all. The service we have had both times (once at the bar and once at a... More

The Taproom continues to serve great beer. They continually come up with new varieties in addition to their standards. Many of their brews have a higher alcohol content, so food to go with the beer is a must. When I first started going to the Taproom, I was impressed with their menu. It was small, but it contained items that... More

The Taproom is a great place to go to have a few beers and relax, especially during Happy Hour, and especially now that they have a few outside tables set up. I usually don't go on a weekend night (during peak bar time) because it gets too crowded for me. After work or during the day on a weekend are... More

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon the Taproom in Lancaster after talking a walking tour of the city. We are huge fans of craft beers and visit breweries and brew pubs wherever we can. When we walked into the Taproom it was quite busy but we were lucky to get one seat at the bar. I'll start by saying the... More

The Taproom is a regular stop for us anytime we drive through Lancaster. There is always something new on the beer menu. The Beyond the Gates Double IPA is one of my favorites, and is usually available. The pumpkin ale is one of the best pumpkins I've tasted. The food menu is small, but they have some very nice items.... More
