So many favors of ice cream, but sadly closed

This small, family owned ice cream shop had many delicious favors of homemade ice cream. Sadly, they closed last year because of some health issues with their son. So far, the shop has not reopened.

We visited a couple of times -- very rich ice cream, good flavor selection. Sadly C&D just closed. Not sure what the plans are.

Sadly, Carmen & David's closed recently, not because it wasn't wonderful but family obligations took too much time. If and when they re-open, be sure to go there for interesting flavors and rich creamy ice cream.

Too bad they're closing up shop. The place is always busy but the owners have some personal reasons for shutting the doors. Luckily I'll be able to get Carmen & David's ice cream at a few local Lancaster restaurants.

Ice cream is fantastic, but unfortunately Carmen and David chose to close their retail storefront and focus on wholesale. You can still get their ice cream at many city locations, including Chestnut Hill Cafe.

While in Lancaster to see White Christmas at the Fulton Theatre, I had to stop across the street at Carmen and David's Creamery to see for myself. According to other reviews, this is the 4th ranked restaurant in Lancaster so my expectations were high. Sorry to say, I've had better ice cream in the Lancaster area. Don't get me wrong,... More

Ice cream tasted like any other ice cream parlor. I had mint chip. It was good, I enjoyed it, but I've had better ice cream from dairy farms that make homemade ice cream. It wasn't anything mind blowing. Atmosphere was bright. My husband and I visited in the middle of the day and it wasn't busy at all. The staff... More

There's no better treat than to stop by Carmen & David's Creamery after a walk around downtown Lancaster. A good selection of treats and a creative seating area.

This spot has ice cream in so many flavors that I have not seen elsewhere. Since I can never make up my mind, I often get the three mini-scoop sampler and can try three new flavors at one time. A must for ice cream lovers.

There are many different flavors of ice cream to choose from this place. You really can't go wrong with anything you choose. The service is always great and the prices aren't bad either. The atmosphere is very colorful and comfortable. Good treat for a Saturday afternoon.
