Great place for Happy Hour and Good Food

We haven't been there for quite awhile and decided to stop back. We sat at the bar. We had great service from Jason and Steve. Their Happy Hour (4 - 6) has $3 glasses of wine - great! They also have special appetizers. My friend and I had great meals. I had the Grilled Meat Loaf ($11.95) and... read more

Food was good, service was a tad slow. Our waitress may have been new, as she wasn't familiar with the bar offerings. And while we don't like to be "hassled" while dining, there was little "follow-up", and it took quite a while to get the check, and then to have it taken for payment.

Loved the atmosphere, we did not stay at the inn but just went into the restaurant but the old time steamboat atmosphere carried through, in the furniture and decorations. The piano player was great, very fun to listen to and had nice words for any child that came up to him. We had the Flame Grilled Salmon with raspberry glaze,... More

We went there in May for a romantic evening. We had reservations for 5 pm. It was very quiet and empty. We sat by the window. We ordered an appetizer which was small, but good and a beer. The main course includes either tomato soup bisque or a salad. We had the soup it was very good. I had the... More

Helen in the gift shop is a delight. She always remembers us and she always smiles. Get the breakfast that comes with everything. The sausage is local and is delicious. Off the charts.

My wife and I tried Huckleberry's for the first time. The food was very good and we had great service. The pot roast was tender and tasty.

After a busy day of site seeing it was great to come back to you hotel and have Huckleberry's right there. Just down from our room was the tavern part and a little further down was the actual resturant. We stayed in the tavern mostly. You can get the same food in the tavern as in the restaurant, plus a... Wonderful hotel. Rooms are lovely. Food in restaurant is wonderful and bar is real good too. Close to Sight and Sound theater. We've stayed here twice and look forward to staying again.
