Cock 'n Bull Restaurant

This is lovely old place in a very quaint tourist area. However, the food is just average, but the service was quite good!

My husband and I went to an Afternoon Tea buffet-style at the Cock n Bull Restaurant.I have been to many tea rooms but never experienced a buffet style afternoon tea. I was looking forward to it. Everyone gathered in the lobby and it felt like a cattle call. A few people were called in at a time and shown to... More

This place is a real tradition in going to Peddlers Village. it is an old quaint building with many antiques and an open fireplace. We love the atmosphere and food. Will go as often as we can.

We dined for lunch, our very first visit. I had wanted to eat here for years. I am a travel agent and dine all over the world. The server was excellent, food good. I had a chicken pot pie with "apple slaw" on the side... 30 min. after eating I was vomiting. Not sure if food prep was the problem... More

We wanted to enjoy the famous Peddlers' Village. This is a small town preserve that has kept itself alive with the small shops or this and that. The sort of thing you have to see and touch, and buy because its just right for you. There is plenty of parking. The walk is up and down with a few stairs... More

Very disappointing in all aspects. Food just okay. I used to eat there a lot. Went there thinking it was still special and it was not. 40th wedding anniversary dinner was just not great. .

If you want to celebrate a holiday with a fantastic brunch this is the place. We had 12 there for Mother's Day and you can't beat the price, the quality of food and service.

When the family wants to shop and meet for lunch- we always choose the Cock & Bull. Clean, good service, great servers and the food is served within a reasonable time and nicely presented. Joann was great and took the time to speak with us- where we were from and since 2 sisters are twins, she thought that was fun.

We arrived at opening time and were promptly taken to a nice table by a window. Bob took care of us and was friendly and professional. I had "Fish and Chips" and others in the party had the special of the day and a "Pot Pye". All were pleased with the portion size, temperature and presentation. If you are in... More
