Disappointed!

We got a gift certificate for dinner. My hubby and I each ordered Cesar salads, but I asked for mine to be without olives. Mine came out with the dressing on the side, not mixed in and no cheese. I thought that was weird. While eating, a waitress was at the table next to us giving a list of... read more

We arrived at opening time and were promptly taken to a nice table by a window. Bob took care of us and was friendly and professional. I had "Fish and Chips" and others in the party had the special of the day and a "Pot Pye". All were pleased with the portion size, temperature and presentation. If you are in... More

I go to this restaurant whenever I am in the area, usually twice a year. It has remained consistently good over the years. There are several things i like about it. I enjoy the view overlooking the village and I like the menu which has nothing pretentious on it just food that tastes as good as it sounds. The menu... More

We visited a few weeks ago during the Strawberry Festival and everything was super crowded. However our wait here wasn't terrible about 15 minutes. Our server was really sweet and accommodating. Our food was wonderful. We had their prime rib dip. And it was perfectly cooked. The roll it came on was really good too. I can't say anything about... More

This is a busy, casual restaurant that serves an excellent lunch and offers a really good Sunday brunch. The menu features basic all-American dishes -- turkey dinner, pot pies, and such -- at a reasonable price. No reservations, so get there early. The place gets quite busy.

Had a delicious Beef Burgundy served in a brioche bun bowl. The sauce was so delectable, the bite size pieces of beef were very tender and accompanied with mini white onions and sliced mushrooms. Menu choices were a bit limited from the regular menu and perhaps slightly higher as it was Strawberry Festival weekend but still quite reasonable at $17... More

My fish and chips weren't the best; coleslaw was bad. My boyfriend's burger was overdone. Only positive note was the calamari and coffee Won't be back.
