The restaurant is located in Peddlers Village, which is a charming shopping area with lots of different things. No boring chain stores here, but more local shoppes with beautiful and creative things. So great for a walk before or after a meal, especially in the evening when it's lit up so prettily. We went on a Tuesday night for the... More

We have eaten here before, and the food was good, as always, the service was also nice and attentive, but the restaurant needs updating! It is looking old and worn out and could attract a younger crowd if it was updated. But food wise, we were both pleased with our lunch choices (salads), and our waitress wisely suggested we share... This was our first visit to Peddler's Village so we had no idea what to expect. I purchased the murder mystery package. Arrived at the hotel very quaint atmosphere. Walked around the grounds. They have a lot of stores including across the street they have outlet stores. Fast forward to the mystery dinner this is where you have to keep... More

We stop in at the Cock N Bull last month. I do like it there as does my wife. One thing I want to say because there was a review on here from another person saying that the (Cock N Bull was serving Campbell's for $6!) That I do know is not true I love people who just like to... More

Excellent food (Chicken Pot Pie) and great service. Worth a trip to go back. Great nearby attractions with surroundings of Peddler's Village shops and festivities

My husband and I went here for Sunday Brunch this past weekend. We've eaten here many times over the past 20 years, and this experience was great, as usual. Friendly, excellent service from the wait staff; very good food; warm, charming atmosphere. We arrived at their busiest time of the day, so were told there would be a 20 to... More

We were in Peddler's Village and decided to stop for a late lunch. Restaurants that survive in a high volume tourist area are often not the best but we were surprised with the C&B. When we first arrived our waitress (middle aged +) wasn't thrilled to see us but she warmed up shortly. I'm sure she had been working a... More

We were in Peddler's Village and stopped by the C&B for lunch. The service, from the greeter to the waitress was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is well-maintained and cheery. The menu items cover all tastes and we ordered soup and sandwich specials. They were very well presented and tasty. Prices were very reasonable and we agree that we... More

Usually don't like trashing a venue but $200 later it may be worth it, in a cathartic sort of way. As others here have stated, tired decor and a mildly offensive, mildewy odor greet you at the door. However, being located smack in the middle of Peddler's Village brings a steady (over)flow of people at dinner time during the busy... More
