Enhanced Continental Breakfast is Very Good

As guests of the Golden Plough Inn we had a complimentary "enhanced" continental breakfast each morning at the Buttonwood Grill. It was very good. Much better than a continental you would get at other hotels. Juice offerings were orange, tomato and cranberry. Fresh fruit and yogurt. Cereal. Bagels... read more

My first visit was yesterday for lunch. I ordered mushroom soup and sandwich. Totally enjoyed both. I will plan to go back for dinner soon.

Had a wonderful lunch today. Burger cooked perfectly to order. Great waiter - Nick. Most important, the waiter and chef made sure all of my food allergies, and there are many, were addressed and put together a great plate. Thank you!

We had dinner on the deck on Friday night. It was a pleasant night and the atmosphere on the deck was nice. We ordered the fish tacos and a burger. Both were good. I would definitely say this is an average place although the deck does add a nice touch. Service was OK, took some time to originally get noticed... More

Took a friend from Brazil to Lahaska then sat at bar for what we thought would be a easy casual fun dinner. Bartendar was not friendly, did not ask us how we were, would not acknowledge when we would ask "please another glass of wine" no smiles, plates slapped down. Our Brazilian friend was appalled at her behavior, needless to... More

This was a great disappointment from the start. We had decided to go here based on other reviews for a last family outing before my oldest daughter went off to college. We drove an hour to get there. After an hour drive I was looking forward to having a cold beer and immediately I saw on the blackboard that they... More

Really surprised us with the quality of this hotel restaurant. As guests of the hotel, we have had breakfast here before (good breakfast burritos & sandwiches) and were planning to again the next day but since it was a Sunday night we were running out of options in town with non-traditional kid meals (something other than chicken fingers and macaroni... Very Good but not great fish tacos and an excellent butternut squash salad served on a really nice outdoor deck made this for a very pleasant lunch. It is a really relaxing atmosphere and we never felt rushed.

Great Food - you have to try the burgers. Adjoins Golden Plough Inn - both are superb. WE had pizza and cheeseburger soup for lunch and went back for dinner and had the burgers - great - then, since we stayed at Golden Plough, enjoyed our breakfast at Buttonwood Grill

We were waiting for a while to get seated even though there were many tables available, the girls assigning the tables did not seem to be on top of things. After I asked they took us to a table in the very back, close to where they clean the dishes....the worse possible location, maybe this was our punishment for asking... More
