can't believe it...someone thought they were special? We felt unwanted, and perhaps, a nuisance. Place was not busy in the small room, but service was terrible. I overheard other guests stating their food was not brought out in proper order, nor was ours, nor were orders filled correctly. Waiter kept misunderstanding what we were trying to order. Tried to convince... More

I have been to Desi Village ~6 times over the past year. Their buffet has the most variety of any Indian restaurant in the Philly area. They also have items like mango juice to supplement your meal, a mix of all regions of Indian food, and plenty of space for seating. The only issues I have with this place is... More

Went to Desi Village with my family tonight. What a great experience! The waiter (was he the owner?) made us feel welcome and well cared for. He gave my twin 8 year olds complementary Mango Lassi's; one loved it the other, eh, what does he know? Then, the waiter made excellent suggestions for appetizers and main, including a delicious veggie... More

Located at the end of a small strip building where you can BYOB purchased from the liquor store located at the opposite end of the building. It's best to ask is there is a corking fee if you do BYOB. If you are not used to indian cuisine, which can get pretty spicy, we opted for ‘mild’ when the server... More

Desi Kitchen is tucked away in a small shopping center near the King of Prussia mall. The service was very attentive, the setting nice, except for a noisy kids party in the next enclosed room. Why they cheapen the restaurant with paper over the table cloths, except to save on laundry bills cuts down on the decor, but overall it... More

Owner/manager was rude when I went in to pick up my take out order. Criticized me for not ordering a proper meal. Food is so so. Atmosphere is lacking. Look elsewhere.

We had dinner at this restaurant recently on a business trip, since it was close to our hotel. The place seems a little run down, and the seat cushion had a big rip in it. Food was average, nothing special. They don't serve alcohol either.

Tried out this place as I regularly stay at the best western opposite this restaurant. Definitely skip this place. Service was pathetic and the waiter for my table was giving me attitude. Food is pretty decent but I have eaten better. Skip this place if you do not want to be treated badly. I rather eat a sub from Wawa... More
