Was invited there. Great experience. I had surf and turf. Page fillet was cooked to perfection and was so tender and tasty. The scallops were also very well prepared. I then had an hazelnut chocolate cake. I love cakes (and food in general) and can usually eat a lot but although it tasted lovely, it was just too big. I... More

The Kona encrusted steak was just fabulous. Our server was excellent. When I asked for "just under" well done she said no problem. Couldn't decide which sauce I wanted so she brought several to try. Gave Capital Grill only stars though since the hostess appeared a little put out that we did not have a reservation. And my partners fish... More

Fair, but still very good in the grand scheme of things. Pretty good service (a few slips) they knew what Pittsburg style steak was (plus) cut was way too marbled (I get marbled, a little too much waste on this one). I've been to maybe four different locations, this one ranks #4 - but that's like saying this is the... More

Filet medium / rare comes rare .... You can't have a single portion of side you have to share !! Not geared up for the single diner and when you question the portion sizes they say then we can accommodate you?? A strange concept !! Not happy at this experience of this brand !

Had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. Service was impeccable. We ordered calamari and house salad as appetizer. Both were delicious. Main course was fish: sea bass, alaskan wild salmon and halibut. Sea bass and halibut were exquisite - fresh and grilled to perfection. Salmon, however, was overcooked. When we brought it to the waitress attention, she immediately offered to... More

We have dined at this location at least 5 times and are never disappointed. While I often order filet, my husband usually opts for fish, so we have seen a great representation of their menu. Their oysters are always nicely shucked, served with a lemon wrapped in gauze, to keep seeds out of one's oysters. Their steaks are always perfectly... More

Took my wife, mother-in-law and my sister to Capital Grill last Thursday for lunch. Very handsome decor-lots of dark mahogany. We were quickly seated in the dining room. After looking over the menu, the four of us opted for the $18 special. This consisted of clam chowder or salad and your choice of one of four or five entrees. The... More

I don't usually write about restaurants chains, but Capital Grill is a sure exception to this rule as each are distinctive and unique and never have the feeling of eating in a chain restaurant. My son graduated high school this June and he had the choice of picking ANY Philadelphia are restaurant for a celebration dinner - his choice Capital... More

A very disappointing experience. It's nice to have a table check but not 5 in one course. Way too much attention; it was annoying and intrusive. The waitress presented the bill without being asked and before we had finished our meal. I could go on but I have better things to do. Suffice to say, great place to go if... More

We've been to a lot of nice restaurants for special occasions, but our experience with Capital Grille was the best! The manager Christopher is top notch! He went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special (college graduation). Our waiter, David, did an incredible job of being attentive, but not intrusive. The food was just as everyone ordered, and... More
