We can't say enough good things about the Stone Barn. Our daughter's wedding was fantastic. The service was exceptional. Heather, our wedding coordinator was such a pleasure. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble. She worked so hard that night and she did it with a constant smile on her face. The food was delicious and served beautifully. They... More

Out in the middle of horse country in Chester County, this restaurant never disappoints. I love the fact that it is a farm to table for local produce and that it is a BYO! After a wonderful sharing plate of brie, crackers and chutney, I had the rockfish with local vegetables. My husband had the pork chop ( only disappointment... More

We really enjoyed our recent dinner at Foxfire. The country setting is beatiful and the dining room is cozy and romantic. The food was creative and excellent. BYOB was nice with no charge for set ups. This is definitely one of our new favorites!

We went for the special Thursday nights in April prix fixe dinner. The place has a lot of charm, but was nearly empty! Our waitperson, Matt, was wonderful, just friendly and attentive enough without being obtrusive. He was very familiar with the menu which was helpful. The arugula salad was great, lots of fresh young arugula with blue cheese and... More

I was invited to lunch at the Stone Barn by some friends we were so excited since we had not been there for a long time.. Things have really changed. food was cold and not tasty at all. To make matters worse, a man seated next to us was wearing a gun and dressed in hunting gear. I mentioned this... More

My mother and I wanted to do something special for a friend’s birthday. We decided on Sunday to take nice ride in the country even though it is winter I knew the Stone Barn would be the ideal place. We had reservations for 11:00 seating. When we walked through the door the ambiance was everything you would want. I decided... More

The Stone Barn is open for dinner Wed through Sat and Sunday brunch. Thursday is a fixed price dinner. Initially we were thrilled by this meal but after 3 times with no menu changes it became stale. Service is slow and if you order the chocolate lava cake be prepared to wait 25 minutes.

Every woman dreams about their wedding day from the time they are little. Our wedding was my dream come true...with one exception...the god awful food served to our guests. How the Stone Barn has handled the situation is even worse than the food. The food served to us at our tasting was magnificent and my now husband and I raved... More

Had our daughter's wedding at the Stone Barn last year - pretty venue - but bad food - a far cry from meals we had at the restaurant in the past and what was presented at the tasting. So we went to small claims to get some sort of reimbursement on our $13,000.00 meal payment.. The Judge ordered the Stone... More
