My favorite

I go here a lot, I always choose to go on nights threw the week or lunch on sturdays due to less people. I prefer a quiet place to eat with excellent food and service and this is it. I’ve never had anything bad from here. Tip it’s BYOB but on the next block down is a tasting room called... read more

We were there early with reservations. Said that they would be full in 20-30 minutes, so could not chnage our seats. Well our seat was in a corner and the place was not full after 20-30 minutes. So we could have been moved to a better seatingarea. In fact not sure how they get away with a seat in front... More

The food is consistently excellent, especially the fish specials. Byrsa Bistro has a cozy atmosphere. Great for couples or a group. Reasonably priced and BYOB.

Went to this lovely restaurant over memorial weekend. Everything was perfect. The food, the service and the ambiance. You must try it if you are in town. No alcohol- so go to wine store for BYOB. Can't wait to visit again.

Byrsa Bistro in Old Kennet Square, PA, is a gem of a restaurant -- small but full of Mediterranean ambiance. While traveling in the Kennett Square area we stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed. My husband had the mushroom soup, which he said was quite good. His entree was the organic chicken tagine, cooked in a sauce with... More

Not many restaurants are open on Monday nights in Kennett Square. We happened into Byrsa The service was excellent and the food very good. I had a giant plate of mussels which were cooked to perfection. Their mushroom soup is good but it cannot compare with what we had a couple of nights later at Porteballos.

This place exceeds the reviews by a lot, neat little BYO joint with a good menu and great service. Friendly, great flavours and great Tagline meals.

My dining guest and I stopped by for lunch and we'll back! Located on the main street, we got lucky to find a space right on the street. We were greeted and shown to a table at a window. We both started with the hot Moroccan tea which we were told is a blend of three different teas. It was... More

Byrsa Bistro is a gem in the heart of Kennett Square (home to several culinary gems). The space is a little odd, but the food and service are outstanding! We were greeted warmly at the door (by the way, I would recommend reservations for the weekend evenings!), and the service remained very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our meals... We have dined at Byrsa on several occasions and each meal has been a wonderful experience. The menu has a great deal of diversity, relying upon available of locally grown, fresh food whenever possible. This creates a unique "fusion" menu that has something for almost any food preference.
