Food and atmosphere is great. Service is good and food is wonderful. In the heart of downtown Johnstown, reasonable prices, and parking is no problem.

Was in Johnstown for business purposes. Eleven of us set out on Tuesday night to RJ's on Main due to their good rating here on TripAdvisor. Walked in and they were more than happy to have us, and had us seated in no time. The server (Gail I believe) was quite attentive, and handled out party of 11 without any... More

We went for dinner at RJ's and the food was really good. Price is not bad for the portions you get. Wide selection of wines and drinks available. Although it was a slow nite because something else was going on in town, the service was good. We definitely will go back again. The crab dip appetizer was delicious!

I have been to RJ's quite a few times. And for good reasons! The food, service, and atmosphere is amazing! Everything I have ordered off the menu, has been the best I have ever had.... And I've been around the globe! When you walk in, it's like your in a while different world... Very cool place! I don't ever write... More

I am originally from Johnstown and my husband and I have eaten at this restaurant many times and unlike the previous reviewer think it is just what downtown Johnstown needed. First off, the entrees are priced very reasonably for the quality of the food. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff is wonderful. Loved the singing bartenders. Is it for... More

We have eaten at this restaurant twice. Downtown Johnstown is not a place to expect $30 entrees. The food is fine but horribly over priced. I do like the many memories referenced by news clippings on the walls, but I can find those other places at more reasonable prices (try the Hey Day Diner up the street).

We stopped in for a change of pace. The Johnstown memorabilia was very attractive. The sandwiches were very tasty and we particularly enjoyed the hummingbird cake. The onion soup was just right not too salty. Wish the servers had more pinache. Will plan to stop in again soon.

First, the positive. The food here is okay - not extraordinary, but certainly not bad. The negative? Well, unfortunately, practically everything else. The service is abysmal. Clueless even. We ordered an appetizer to share, a soup and small salad, and two entrees, specifically asking for the app first, then the soup/salad, then the entrees. Should be obvious, but it doesn't... More

My wife and I decided to try the newly refurbished RJ's restaurant which resides in the former site of a mainstay in Johnstown called Johnny's restaurant The bar is warm and inviting and the walls are decorated with photographs and memorabilia from Johnstown in the 1950s The dining room has a serene atmosphere with original artwork and copper clad tall...
