A real old time country cafe - brilliant. You can eat in or take away. If you are over the usual expressway food stop, get off the highways that bypass the towns. The friendliness of the staff and the size of the servings take you back to another era. The only complaint is that they only accept cash, no credit... More

The staff are friendly and helpful and make great take away or dine in food. It is conveniently located on the main street amongst other restaurants, cafes and retail shops.

We had a bacon and egg sandwich and a bacon and egg roll with a cup of tea, very yummy - the bacon was exceptional.

Plenty of food, lots of chips. Take a trip back to the 1950s. Old style booths. Old tv playing. Cash only. Don't ask for a tax invoice. It will send the chef into a tail spin.

Arrived late in town after a long journey, not much open to chose from. Got a huge takeaway Fisherman's Basket for a great price - food was fresh and tasted very clean, non of that old oil taste. The people serving were very friendly. Would and have recommend to other people

Cafe food at its worst. The salad sandwich I ordered came with margarine dripping out the side (no butter I'd said), stale bread soaked in the coleslaw dressing ( very soggy) and tomato that had seen better days - some time ago. The beetroot was OK. My partner's pork roll had a generous filling but the effects were felt some... More

Awesome, old style cafe. The open Hamburger for lunch was delicious and HUGE, (too much for me). Service was great too!

Nick's hamburgers are something out of days gone by - you need both hands to eat them. Service can be a bit slow as it is a high volume turnover take-away. Sit at the old-style booth tables and read a magazine while you wait - it's worth the wait for one of Nick's hamburgers!

The eggs and tomatoes were perfectly cooked and the pot of tea was great.
