I was a little late in the evening getting there which limited me to the pub side of the establishment where the band plays and you get access to the pub meals opposed to the full meals. The meal i had was just that, classic pub tucker that was "ok" and realistically was good value for money for what it... More

We ate gluten free duck leg confit of two legs and two thighs and cooked perfectly. The other ate a very tasty but tad salty beef and onion pie. Accompanied with glasses of wine from the solid list at the bar. Service staff were helpful with gluten intolerance.

Eating with ceiling to floor windows over the beach with a nice fish and chips was great. A very pleasant evening

Pacific Hotel is the BEST place to have a drink in Yamba the view is awesome and can't be beaten. We had dinner and it was quite good - in fact I had fillet steak and it was VERY good. ( plus entree of King Island Brie was outstanding ) Slightly basic garlic bread and the grilled salmon was a... More

Dined on two occasions during our holiday. You cannot book, but does not take long for a table to become vacant. Food choices were enjoyed both times by myself and friends. Great selection and presentation excellent considering the amount of meals coming from the kitchen.

The view from the Pacific Bistro is beautiful and at sunset a real treat - I would recommend going to have a drink only! The service is NOT good, the staff obviously would prefer to be somewhere else or do not understand service, and the food is average. So many other great places to eat - have a drink enjoy... More

Great place for a drink but the bistro needs a complete over haul, the menu is unappealng and expensive, there aren't any options for kids meals. Considering the location this should be THE place to eat in Yamba. They'd do better just offering pub style meals and lowering the prices.

We went to the hotel for dinner and I went up to order and there were only 2 people in front of me. 20 mins later I was served and was told they had no oysters. I ended up just ordering the bread as the cost of the meals was excessive. Most mains were $30 plus and children's meals were... More

Ordered a BBQ lemongrass chicken which was very tender except for the corn that came along with it and the other was a plain fish and chips with tartare sauce, nice fries but nothing exceptional. Service is limited insofar as you go to the counter to order and then bring your food. The view is amazing and there is also... More

We tried the bistro during a recent girls weekend away; we did choose it because of the view - it is absolutely breathtaking - but the food was quick, tasty and reasonably-priced so nil complaints at all. I loved the decor - lifesaver/surfer circa 1960s - with Malibu long boards and lots of black and white photos from the 60s... More
