Lovely location, too bad it is so cramped.

Stopped in here for lunch. Loved the menu, would like to try breakfast and dinner options, too. Unlike other reviewers, I loved the food! The prices were good for the quantity/quality of food. Enough so, that I would return despite the faults.Service was slow, but, with a window seat, it was fun to... read more

We found this quaint restaurant while attending a concert at the Opera House across the street. It was decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme. The setting was very quaint and fun. They had a cozy fire. Each table had a stack of books underneath with a box that read "eM nepO." Upon opening the box, we found a card... More

Nice fireplace to warm up with on a cold day. Good coffee and a nice meal. A really great environment and vibe to the place. Service was great. A little crowded inside.

It's a tight squeeze inside but the eclectic assortment of books and tea sets puts you in the theme of the place. Food was enjoyable, the loaded biscuit fell apart upon first bite but just as yummy with a fork. Potato soup could have used some work but prices were good and we enjoyed the meal. Not for the claustrophobic... More

Stopped in here for, what we hoped, was a quick sandwich and soup. It is a small place with wrought iron cafe style tables and chairs. A couple of the tables had fabric chairs which, unfortunately, is where we were seated. The chairs were way too low for the tables. I had to sit on my legs and my husband... More

This corner location across from the Mauch Chuck Opera House held promise because of it's location. We stopped for breakfast and thought we'd give it a whirl. Ordered a cappuccino on the menu and was told it would take a few minutes. Got a warm watery instant something brown. Suspect it was some sort of packaged instant mix. For $4.... More

This was our second visit. What a disappointment. The food was fine but the atmosphere in the restaurant went downhill. The staff seemed to have no control over the customers. Those waiting for tables were in and out leaving the door wide open. We almost froze to death. Even made the food cold. This was our favorite restaurant a year... More

We stopped in for Saturday night dinner. The food was very good, the service efficient and friendly. What really made the evening special was the live piano music. It was a very memorable evening.

We almost walked out, after waiting at the door for what seemed "too long", before someone peeked around the corner to say someone would be with us shortly. Turns out it was a CUSTOMER who informed us, as the only person working the front was making a latte' for her. When the waitstaff came around, she was apologetic, and took... More

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch. We were both very happy with our sandwiches. The size of the sandwiches are big and very delicious. All breads are homemade. The pizza is great to share and very delicious too.
