Lovely location, too bad it is so cramped.

Stopped in here for lunch. Loved the menu, would like to try breakfast and dinner options, too. Unlike other reviewers, I loved the food! The prices were good for the quantity/quality of food. Enough so, that I would return despite the faults.Service was slow, but, with a window seat, it was fun to... read more

Several times in the past year I have gone here with a friend for a catch up conversation and some good food. This last time I enjoyed Ellen's Foccacia which was very delicious and attractive to look at. The waiter was friendly although not the most experienced, but we got our food in a timely way and enjoyed our visit.... More

Looked interesting. Owner said everything was made from scratch so it sounded great. What she forgot to say was that it was made from scratch 2 days ago. I had a vegetable side that was clearly yesterday's vegetables pan 'burnt'. My husband had Pizza that required an eno chaser. Something needs to change😁

Do not be fooled by the quaint appearance of this place. You would expect a cozy looking place like this to serve you a thoughtful meal. Not so much. The "petite filet mignon" sandwich was over cooked, dry and not a filet by any means. No chips, not even a garnish. $2.00 soda was flat and warm. Waited forever for... More

We found this quaint restaurant while attending a concert at the Opera House across the street. It was decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme. The setting was very quaint and fun. They had a cozy fire. Each table had a stack of books underneath with a box that read "eM nepO." Upon opening the box, we found a card... More

Nice fireplace to warm up with on a cold day. Good coffee and a nice meal. A really great environment and vibe to the place. Service was great. A little crowded inside.

It's a tight squeeze inside but the eclectic assortment of books and tea sets puts you in the theme of the place. Food was enjoyable, the loaded biscuit fell apart upon first bite but just as yummy with a fork. Potato soup could have used some work but prices were good and we enjoyed the meal. Not for the claustrophobic... More

Stopped in here for, what we hoped, was a quick sandwich and soup. It is a small place with wrought iron cafe style tables and chairs. A couple of the tables had fabric chairs which, unfortunately, is where we were seated. The chairs were way too low for the tables. I had to sit on my legs and my husband... More

This corner location across from the Mauch Chuck Opera House held promise because of it's location. We stopped for breakfast and thought we'd give it a whirl. Ordered a cappuccino on the menu and was told it would take a few minutes. Got a warm watery instant something brown. Suspect it was some sort of packaged instant mix. For $4.... More

This was our second visit. What a disappointment. The food was fine but the atmosphere in the restaurant went downhill. The staff seemed to have no control over the customers. Those waiting for tables were in and out leaving the door wide open. We almost froze to death. Even made the food cold. This was our favorite restaurant a year... More
