This has been one of my favorite local spots to eat. The crab soup is so yummy! And the heaven bars are to die for! breakfast is always amazing too. :)

Jim. Thorpe had always been a favorite local spot to visit for my partner, myself and our twin teens! We had the WORST dining experience tonight of our lives at Through The Looking Glass! Maria, our server was the only person there that appeared to be working. We began one of three tables - we asked rather the crab soup... More

Wonderful local cafe with a good menu selection and a good mix of tasty fruit drinks. They don't serve alcohol, but the quality of the food makes up for it.

Decided to stop before attending a show at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. The restaurant is uniquely decorated. The first thing we noticed was it was in disarray and messy. Nevertheless we stayed and ordered The crab bisque was flavorful. I had a sirloin sandwich and my wife had some type of chicken sandwich. My sandwich was huge. It was... More

My husband and I shared a lunch here at the recommendation from a local. Very eclectic interior. Get the grilled cheese with everything--Apple sliced, bacon and tomato on homemade bread. Fantastic!

Sat outside on the patio on a beautiful July night. There service was casual but personal. I took a chance and ordered the blackened talipia and it was great. Cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside but moist on the inside with the just perfect amount of blackened spices. Everything on the dish was fresh and delicious.

My husband and I were in Jim Thorpe for our wedding anniversary and decided to have lunch at this restaurant because it was a beautiful day and had outside seating and had cute alice in wonderland themed tables. When we walked up, most of the tables outside were empty, but none of them had been cleaned off. We sat down... More

Friends and we (four all together) had a late lunch here after biking the Lehigh Valley Gorge rail-trail. Beautiful day, so we elected to eat on the porch area. Two of us were vegetarian and were pleased to see options for us. To start us out, potato sticks were put out (instead of bread) - not a very appealing option.... More

There were two other tables the day we went in and needed to wait 10 minutes to even get a menu after being seated (not enough menus) Once we ordered, it took over a half an hour to bring our 2 lunches. Restaurant was not clean, observed the server take off her serving gloves and then touch food with her... More

Get there took our order right away but didn't have some of the things we wanted to order. Then we waited for 25 mins with nothing until we got up and said something. When our food did finally come our it was all very poorly made. Very cheap on ingredients and was not cooked to order.
