We Almost Walked Out Without Eating

We arrived at this pleasant location at about 2:30 for lunch. Less than half the tables were occupied. We ordered our food right away, since we were quite hungry- a BLT and personal pizza- nothing complicated. Then we waited and waited and waited and waited. It was approaching an hour wait... read more

At first we were taken aback by the Alice in Wonderland theme, but when we dug into the White Rabbit pizza (vegetarian, no rabbits within) we were overwhelmed. Filled with fresh vegetables on a thick crust, it ended up being two meals. The size and variety of our salad was amazing. We came back for breakfast the next day and enjoyed... More

Where do I star! First impression when I walked in with my husband for lunch was if they even clean this place. After waiting for 5 minutes, we were seated and gave our drink order to the waitress. After 10 minutes, another waitress came and took our lunch order and brought the beverages. It took 55 minutes for our meal to... More

Wonderful atmosphere, warm fire, wonderful homemade food, nice variety. We got Norm's omelette and French toast on homemade bread with apples, blueberries and cinnamon. They also had a nice variety of teas. Friendly staff

My family and I went there to eat dinner and were sitted in 20 minutes or so, which was good..Then we waited another 2 full hours after we placed our order without being served. They were not busy and the waitress didn't seem to have any experience. We finally got up and left, informing hostess and paper cup with water... More

Everything seemed to be a struggle for this establishment. We didn't get menus for 10 minutes. The drinks took 10 minutes and one was forgotten. That drink took another 5 minutes. Our food was delivered without silverware and we stared at it for at least 5 minutes before we could eat. Once the check finally came we waited 10 minutes... More

The food was not the greatest. Pancakes were poor quality. The waitress was not attentive at all we waited a half hour just for water! Then another hour for food. Just a shame since the place has a good atmosphere.

Of poor service and lackluster, at best, food. We were lucky to get in the door and seated fairly quickly. It went downhill from there. We waited an hour for our food. When it arrived, it was incomplete and failed to match the menu description even in an obvious way. Example - the menu said a cup of hot apple... More

I have eaten at the looking glass numerous times and I have been surprised by the menu selection and friendly atmosphere each time. After looking at the previous review I felt I should comment on the fried green tomatoes. I'm not sure exactly when Dan c was there but fried green tomatoes havent been served in almost a week and... Out of green tomatoes, the waitress told us they had red tomatoes, we ordered them an as it turned out, they were the highlight of our meal. The service was pretty bad, and we we had to wait an excessive amount of time for our food. I ordered the chipotle burger, which was not as spicy as the tomatoes. My... More
