If you like scallops and are looking for a unique dinning experience, the this is the place to eat. We won tickets to a show at the opera house and decided to make a full evening. Thank you for making our evening special.

The eclectic look of the place drew me closer. Once inside it did not disappoint! The aroma coming from the kitchen was amazing and so was the taste of the food. Shrimp bisque-lamb-fennel pork... Getting hungry again just thinking about it! After dinner sat and enjoyed a glass of wine listening to some smooth sounds of jazz. Servers were very... More

Just returned home 11/2/14 visit to Jim Thorpe PA. We read up on the restaurants in the area. After reading the reviews, we went to The Wheel. This place is a tourist trap, way over priced meals - average meal $38 to $42. Strange combination of foods put on a plate, with no taste, I have had better food at... More

We went here because of the Top 10 Trip Advisor list for Jim Thorpe restaurants. 7:30 reservation on a Saturday on a holiday weekend was no problem. Arrived at the restaurant and stood inside the front door waiting to be seated. Three waitstaff and what we found out later was supposed to be a hostess, walked by us for 5... More

We rolled into town (literally) on the Lehigh Gorge train. There were over 800 hungry passengers aboard so my husband, our dog and I hit the sidewalk and just kept going up. So glad we did since on our way we saw an outdoor table surrounded by all sorts of ecclectic decor and decided it looked like a good place... More

This restaurant was absolutely fabulous! The service was wonderful and the meals were amazing. We were lucky enough to meet with chef Tom and he gave us a tour of the upstairs. The eclectic decor made the whole time there quite an experience. Our party ordered four different entres each one was delicious. We will without a doubt be back... More

A local resident suggested this restaurant for us, and we were not disappointed! We loved the decor and music choices while we dined. Small menu but fresh food! We loved our seafood bisque, so flavorful. My husband had the day scallops w/smashed potatoes and veggies - excellent. I had the pork loin rigatoni's in a lovely red sauce and mozzarella... More

This restaurant isn't always open for lunch and they only serve dinner a few days during the week. But I was lucky and found the place open for lunch during the Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Festival in October. The exterior of the restaurant looks like an antique store or a junk art gallery so it is easy to miss. If... More

When visiting Jim Thorpe over the Labor Day weekend, we were "pulled into" the Wheel vibe. The food was absolutely wonderful, service impeccable and the interior is crazy-cool. Check out the bathroom! It's a must see.
