Not a lot of choices in Jim Thorpe for dining. This is probably the largest place in town. I think it is not as good as t.g.i.friday's, but very limited options in town. Tried to do Encore but it was booked.

Just went there today - because we have been there previously and had good experiences. Today was a polar opposite of past experience. Hostess tried to convince us we should sit at the bar so she could use the table that was opening up (that we would be seated) as part of a set up for a larger party. My... More

Nice pub atmosphere. Went to lunch before other activities in the area. Has indoor and outdoor areas. Nice lunch options, very friendly personnel. Had chicken salad sandwich which was very good with chips and a good cole slaw. Would go back.

With both indoor and outdoor seating options, this place is a hit while in Jim Thorpe. It is located smack dab in the downtown area. Great menu, excellent food, cold beer...what more could you ask for.

We heard about this place before coming to Jim Thorpe and had to try it out. We were able to get seats out on the back deck, which was great because the weather was beautiful, sports were on TV, and there were lots of people laughing and having fun. The menu is basic pub food. We did order ahi tuna... More

This is a pub with food as an after thought. Very loud local patrons. It took over an hour for our order to come and it was not worth the wait. (It was blamed on the outdoor patio patrons). Stuffed flounder was smothered in some sort of brown sauce; not sure what it was hiding. Definitely would not recommend.

We had some of their sandwich specials. They were both good quality and quantity. The price was very reasonable. I had a beer which ended up being about the same price as the sandwich, a bit steep but the atmosphere was good and the pace uncrushed.

My whole trip was so busy that I don't remember the food that much. This means it was good. Not outstanding but good to very good. (Or I'd have remembered if it was disappointing.) What IS great is the location. You can hear the little train with the BIG whistle. You get the air. The staff are lovely. Very helpful.... More

My wife and I ate on the deck on a nice temp. evening. Food was very good. I loved the Clam Chowder and had the North Atlantic Haddock and my wife had a dinner salad. The help seemed a bit unfriendly but they stayed away pretty well. I would definitely return to this place.

We chose the outside seating on the deck. Once the train was done blowing its horn it was a nice place to watch traffic and enjoy dinner. The food was good. The service was good
