Best scallops ever!

My husband and I had dinner here on a Thursday night, our first meal in Jim Thorpe during our 2-night stay. We went because it was recommended by our B&B innkeeper. It was absolutely delicious - best scallops I've ever had. My husband's pork in wine sauce with prunes was a one-of-a-kind culinary... read more

Four of us ate dinner at Moya and we all liked out meals. The portions were quite large. We all ordered appetizers and a main and we all left food over. We sat at a lovely table by the window. The staff was pleasant. We all ordered specialty drinks which were great. The vodka martini with ice wine was delicious.

We read it was good. And it was. Serving sizes are generous (in case you consider this a positive attribute), but even better was the quality of the food. The Burrata mozzarella cheese appetizer melted in my mouth and the wild mushroom orecchiette dish was everything I had hoped form. My husband chose the pork tenderloin which exceeded our expectations.... More

Service was excellent. The waitress was very pleasant. I had the scallops and my husband had the halibut special. Both were excellent. Best sea food I've had in the Poconos. Had tres leches for dessert which was excellent too.

This is a nice restaurant - i wouldn't say it was incredible - just very good. Pros: Staff was nice, food was tasty . Cons: some tables are close together so it felt like we were dining with the couple next to us. Theres not a lot of natural lighting. I didn't see any outdoor dining.

I can't say enough good things about our brunch experience. My friend and I shared the smoked gouda and spinach omelette and the goat cheese and asparagus omelette. Both were cooked perfectly and the ingredients were clearly fresh and full of flavor. The side of potatoes also done to perfection. And the Mango Mamosa!!! Oh my! So refreshing and wonderful!... What can I say about Moya? Not enough...This is a five star gem hidden in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. I grew up in New York City and travelled extensively and Moya would be stiff competition anywhere. The cuisine was creative, delicious and truly outstanding. They offer an eclectic menu with something for everyone. Absolutely try the asparagus salad,the... More
