Good food. Terrible service.

Met with friends for a birthday lunch. Food was great. Service was terrible. We had finished our first glass of wine and the food was nowhere in sight. I ordered the seafood chowder. Delicious but came with a bread roll and no butter. Took ages to attract someone's attention to get some butter. My... read more

We had lunch in the dining section of the restuarant on a weekday in May, 2015. The atmosphere in the dining area is great. Our table was positioned on the enclosed jetty part of the warfe with great water views and lots of natural light. The day was fine, so the windows were opened as to enjoy the refreshing seabreeze.... More

We had an outdoor table right near the water so we had a lovely view to enjoy our food by. The service was only about 90% but it was very busy that day.

We ate in the restaurant area at a table overlooking the water so the location was perfect and the sun was also shining for us. Ordering was quick and there was a good selection of wines from which to choose. Lots of good options and spent some time studying the menu and daily specials. I choose the Australian blue lip... The location is everything here, yes it is pricy but being out over the water with the pelicans flying by is really relaxing, so I am happy to pay. Servings were well sized, my blue eye tasty and well cooked. French bubbly by the glass was a very reasonable price. Why spoil it then by bringing a teabag on the... More

The food was pretty nice, which is good because some of the staff display incredibly unprofessional service.

The property is divided into two parts. A straight fish & chips, cheap n cheerful joint, and a refurbished waterfront seafood shanty. Although the service is a bit casual, the seafood is wonderful and the wine and beer list is exceptional. The scampi is divine washed down with a Salamon Austrian Riesling. We stayed long enough to see the pelican... More

This is a fun place to visit. The service is hit and miss;just ask for what you want! Our waitress was off her game but the barman wa sfabulous. Our barramundi wa sfresh and well cooked. We had a beetroot and goats cheese sald which was good, not outstanding but good. The views were delightful. After lunch we watched the... More

Ate at the takeaway section - ordered the usual fish and chips, drinks etc. Very slow service and very confusing - meal here, drinks there etc, and we were obviously expected to know where to go and when. Was nice sitting by the water and eating but the best views were reserved for the restaurant customers. Food was good but... More

Really yummy fresh seafood platter at a very reasonable price $75 for lots of food! Stunning location set on the wharf over looking the water. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
